2nd last round already

We have 3 teams vying for 4th position as I can not see the Dragons losing both games against Giants and Magic. So that leaves Hoods, Steins and Bunnies vying for the all important 4th position.

At the other end of the table we have 6 teams vying for positions 7 & 8. This weeks crucial clashes Giants and Dragons, Hawks & Badgers, Hedgies and Leeches, Bunnies and Owls may help sort out the contenders for the final round.

Rd 14 Lodgement Thread - 1st named team has the Home Ground Advantage.

Hastings Hurricanes v Liverpool Rams
2nd v 13th.  Based on positions should be an easy win to the Hurricanes but if Rams can produce the effort they did last week an upset could be on the cards. Maybe the Hurricanes with the Home advantage to get over the line
Wrexham Knights v Staines Steins
15th v 4th - Danger game for the Steins who on paper should win but would not to drop this game and in danger of missing a top 4 finish. Duel rucks of Gawn and Grundy should get the Steins home but will need to be wary if Knights captain fires.
Grope Lane Giants v Birmingham Dragons
12th v 3rd Giants need to win this one of they are to make the 8 but facing an inform Dragons outfit. Think the fire breathing dragons will snuff out the finals chances of the Giants.
Huddersfield Hawks v Bradford Badgers
11th v 10th - This is probably the match of the round with the loser dropping out of the race for 8th position. Little separates both teams. Badgers have been really strong coming of the byes and should keep the momentum going making a charge for the 8 here.
Manchester Magic v Winchester Werewolves
16th v 1st - Does not get any easier for the magic coach and Werewolves should cement top position with a % boost as well.
Swansea Breakers v Nottingham Hoods
5th v 14th - Hoods should get the win over an injury riddled breakers and maintain the pressure for 4th position.
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs v Leeds Leeches
7th v 9th The other contender for match of the round. Hedgehogs sit in 7th position at the moment but are being pursued by a number of teams. A win here should virtually assure the Hedgies spot in the bottom half of the 8. Hedgies have been a little disappointing since the byes whereas the Leeches similar to the Badgers have been building nicely. Think Leeches for the win to put the pressure on Hedgies for the 8.
Blackpool Bunnies v Oxford Owls
6th v 8th - Owls similar Hedgies are under pressure from a chasing pack to hold their position in the 8. Bunnies have been the real surprise packets this year and sit comfortably in the 8 but would want to maintain momentum going into finals. Think Bunnies will keep the momentum going and put more pressure on the Owls.

This is another partial lock out so players from Adelaide and Geelong will be locked at bounce on Thursday night with balance of players locked at Bounce on Friday Night. No loopholing allowed. ;)
