Really stuck on the Fyfe trade, none of the options standout. Thinking the best bet will be Beams or Crouch & pocket the cash.

Havn't been on long, so the Crouch broken hand is a rumour?

Also considering Crouch. Just this moment checked Adelaide's injury list on their website. As of July 3rd there is no mention of M Crouch in any injury capacity, but will await team selection almost confidently.

::)

No love for Gazza? Surely he comes home like a freight train to push them into the finals

Lots of love for Gazza but my concern is will they rest him for the finals ?? Rd.22 Geelong play Freo at Geelong then in Rd.23 they play Gold Coast at Geelong. Would they rest Gazza or perhaps keep him up ?? RD.22 is SC preliminary Final and 23 the Grand Final. Don't think I'll make either without a lot of luck but still too risky. As much as I love the little champ I'm shying away.

;)

I was thinking grabbing Gazza this week because i "should" have 3 trades left once full premo with a floater so come finals if he does take a break he can turn into Macrae. Surely he lifts now when the season is on the line.

I have Gazza and as well as loving watching him play, he was under duress last week. He had no run in the legs. Not age but carrying something. Fortunately he has an outside role so if he can avoid physical contact and any niggles he should score ok. If he can't, he will struggle.

Can’t decide what to do..

Option 1:
Fyfe to Mitchell

Option 2:
Fyfe to Gaff and Nicnat to Grundy

Fyfe to Danger I think

Think he is the logical choice but it’s close between him Kelly Crippa Jelwood Ablett Gaff.
Still so undecided because I don’t think Danger will go huge but he’s super consistent low tons, only one under 100.
The other guys probably have more upside but it’s so much harder to nail one of those guys.

Grrrr

If you don't have Cripps I'd be going him for sure

Yeah i’m going Cripps

I thought about it but is he carrying niggles?? I just don’t know if he’ll finish out the year. Looked like a zombie v sydney prior to their bye, if he keeps getting banged up which will happen due to his role in a crappy team surely his season will be over by Round 20ish. Just my thinking anyway

Fyfe to...
Kelly - still not sure on whether he'll last the year with those groins
Gaff
Jelwood
Bont
Zorko
Matty Crouch another one I'm looking at
Matty Crouch no longer another one I'm looking at

Leaning towards Jelwood or Gaff at this stage

Fyfe > Cripps
T Smith > Ballenden (a DEF/FWD rookie) so that I can swing Sicily again bc I was forced to trade out Keeffe.

Leaves me with 260k for my last trade, will probably in 2 weeks just do Ahern/Giro > a mid premo so that I can move Dustin to M9, and then I have cover on every line for an injury.

Looking to trade fyfe and Fritsch this week:

What do people think is the best option going forward:

Fyfe - Beams/cogz/Taylor Adams
Fritsch - j.lloyd

Fyfe - J.kelly/gaff
Fritsch - crisp

Yeah, I’ve worked it out and I should gain roughly the same points by going option 1 and saving a trade. Might wait and luxury trade nicnat down the road

Fyfe > Gaff for me, hopefully he remains a little POD!

Is Holman -> Shuey a waste of a trade, or can Shuey get back to what he is capable of?

I've been eyeing off Shuey for a few weeks now and he is definitely under consideration for me this week as a Fyfe replacement actually (just because the money allows me to upgrade elsewhere too)

As for Holman to Shuey, I'm not sure. Shuey should outscore him, but if he is your M9 then it might be best keeping the actual trade for now

Was thinking it may allow me to hold onto Fyfe as a sneaky POD at the back end of the season  ???

I considered that too, but either way it's 1 trade used

Use 1 trade, field Shuey for 4-5 weeks then get Fyfe, or use 1 trade and field Fyfe replacement and Holman cover - you get more points on the field with option 2 so more bang for buck - no real gain holding Fyfe

North Melbournes Finest

Think it's Fyfe > Kelly, unless anyone has an ideas as to why a cheaper mid such as Gaff/Crouch/Neale would be a better option.
