Round 14 Trades

I want to trade out macrae and there are 2 options i like. Treloar or Oliver?
Both get a lot of the ball, but treloar has a lot more uncontested ball. Also, is treloar at risk of getting a tag? Leaning towards oliver but he is also most likely to get tagged as he is melbournes main man. Advice please??

Long term the above trades make the most sense but to maximise points this week (as leagues are looking bleak and I need wins to make finals)...I'm now thinking...

Believe me when I say it goes against every instinct I have. It's not a trade I would ever consider but given I'm having an annus horibilis (ranked 16k and looking at making finals in only 1-3 leagues at present in my full quota of 10 so I'm seriously looking at it).
Elxam Champions is about my only goal now...and I'm languishing in 10th with a poor % ....have BS this week who doesn't have Martin but has Oliver. Could be game over if I don't.

Not sure if I should hold Macrae and play McLean in the mids or trade.  Or trade Spargo/Guelfi/Austin/Fritsch to T-Mac.  Then next week Heeney will come in for one of those other guys.  Yes I have the cash to do this all.  ;D

Macrae has really flowered me

Do I upgrade Holman to a cheap prem for M9, then hold Macrae for 3-4 weeks and field that prem in his place who becomes cover later, or do I trade Macrae to a prem meaning Holman is my M9 for the rest of the year?

I think I need to trade Macrae as it leaves Holman as cover still, where as upgrading Holman means I have no cover as Macrae is on the bench

I'd look at this as opportunity, Macrae to Treloar frees up 100k, that saves you a rookie downgrade. You could then use that cash to get Holman up to Hoff. Two trades but excellent coverage on two lines. That would also fix up the Boak mistake as the two can be switched.

I need to complete my forward line though, so I don't think I can do something like that

At this stage I'm thinking

Austin to Redman
Macrae to Rocky  :-X
Moore to TMac

I have other options, but this option above gives me the best bench cover moving forward which I think has to trump player selection because I'll have bugger all trades left

If I do those trades, Redman/Ridley down back, Holman M9 and Battle/Keeffe forwards

Certainly not great, but not too bad all things considered

I'll keep looking into what other options I have too
