James Sicily carrying the Alliance, it's a shame the AAP coach couldn't quite nail all of the other picks  :-\

To be fair, I'm surprise you didn't captain Rhys Stanley as he was the obvious pick.

Bit harsh

Not Ada's fault that most of the mids choked when it counted

If GAJ, Duncan, Titch and Bont put up 110+ scores like we know they usually do then it's game on

Never in doubt

Well done Purp, but really you could probably  beat AAP solo

It's funny you should mention that  :P at this stage, I could beat EurAsia.

My team from last week (minus Giro + Fyfe) is currently on 1544 off 13, with Walters & Wright to come. Ah, how little it matters  :-\

Oh, Walters didn't play. I would have played Giro then I reckon.

Levi434

Here is the best possible lineup for the AAP from the players selected so far:

D: James Sicily(VC), Jake Carlisle, Elliot Yeo, Heath Shaw
M: Shaun Higgins, Andrew Gaff, Jaeger O'Meara, Mark Blicavs
R: Rhys Stanley(C)
F: Jade Gresham, Billy Gowers, Ben Brown, Devon Smith
I: Tom Bellchambers, Jack Redden

Good luck successfully picking this lineup prior to the round. :)

Other Stats:
- Of the top 10 highest scorers; only 2 are from the AAP. Those being Stanley and Sicily.
- Not to mention out of the top 40 scorers so far this round; only 16 come from the AAP.
- You would have scored 1987 if you successfully picked this team above.
- The AAP's next 5 highest scorers were: Nick Smith, Daniel McKenzie, Tom Mitchell, Ben Cunnington and Connor Blakely.

Dah, stealin (some) of my headlines I was saving for later today :P I've found it really surprising in regards to EurAsia's top 10 player dominance.

I was going to be a selfless bloke and not pick any Toronto players to give the other teams a bit of the spotlight for a change, but you know what? flower it. We are the best flowering team in the comp, everyone else's players are shower and overrated.

Jimmy Webster: Who actually is this guy? I've never heard of him. Only thriving because his club's first-choice rebounding defender can't remember what he ate for breakfast this morning. Fakest premo in the comp.

Elliot Yeo: Probably on par with Jared Polec for the worst head going around. It's only fitting they are both mummy's boys too.

Shannon Hurn: Probably the least inspiring captain in the AFL, and a massively overrated kick.

James Sicily: I can't believe people actually started this guy in SC. He does have good signs, but at 400k the analytics dont stack up from a risk reward payoff. Your paying a almost proven price for a guy who isn't proven. Sicily can have all the signs in the world indicating that he could be a premo, but he has only been a premo for less then half a year, so your not getting a big enough discount in my book. Locking in a worse case scenario of 80 for a guy who's career best average is 73 is interesting to say the least.

Mitch Duncan: Of course he's going to average 25 touches a game when he's the 5th mid in line at his club and nobody comes within 100 metres of him on any given week.

Gary Ablett Jnr: Has-been. Can't play through any little niggles because he's mentally soft, unlike (C)onnor who actually had a bad headache which was a legitimate reason for skipping training and going for a surf instead.

Andrew Gaff: I can't wait until some Victorian club pays massive overs for the biggest seagull in the game. Makes Brent Stanton look tough.

Tom Mitchell: A poor man's Matthew Boyd, except Boydy had more hurt factor and he couldn't hit the side of a barn.

Toby Nankervis: Is consistently monstered in the ruck every week yet the media act as if he's the second coming of Gary Dempsey. Not even fit to tie Peter Street's boots.

Isaac Heeney: Has only had 30+ disposals TWICE in his career. Trying to be like Fyfe but he simply isn't as good.

Toby McLean: Will never be as good a ducker as Joel Selwood. Needs to get a tan too.

Ben Brown: It's pretty easy to lead the Coleman medal when you get to hide behind Jarrad Waite, Mason Wood and Nick Larkey in the forward line every week. Krusty the Clown wannabe.

Jeremy Cameron: This bloke, is a bit of a dog. Leads with his elbows and reckon he's broken a second jaw tonight. Careless, High contact, Severe Impact. 4-6 weeks. They'll consider that this is the second time he's done this. This one wasn't off the ball, but he could see the other player and led with his elbows out. It wasn't a brace for impact, it wasn't the only way to contest this ball. Gooooooone.

Marcus Bontempelli: Overrated and overhyped. Will be lucky to have half of the career of Lewis Taylor by the time he finishes up.

Dayne Beams: Not sure what he has more of these days, shower tats or injuries.

Heath Shaw: My Cocker Spaniel could rack up 20 kicks every week playing the role he does, but he wouldn't be stupid enough to bet on his captain to kick the first goal of the game.

Jarryd Roughead: Ranga. Nuff said.

The real story here is that Ada has a cocker spaniel and hates rangas more than Lauren Rimmer.

AAP coach finishing off well by leaving Cripps out, guess he just couldn't handle the pressure at the selection table?
