And it's great to see Gary Ablett front up for yet another AAP representation!

After Geelong & Richmond

EurAsia could be forgiven by being felt a bit unfulfilled by Seoul's Dangerfield, whom has a history of performing big on this stage. Alas, a ton is a ton, and forms the par score required on this stage. New Delhi's Menegola likewise scored a low ton for EurAsia, but at least that was in the forward line! Great performance. That can't be said by Josh "11 point second half" Caddy though, who let both Beijing and EurAsia down with a 67.

But if I felt 102 was unfulfilling, the Alliance were in for a shock. Christchurch mid and all-time great Gary Ablett only put in for a score in the 90s, as did Cape Town's pair Mitch Duncan and Toby Nankervis. Although these are 'fine' scores, much more is needed to get the Alliance over the line, whom are yet to have a centurion on their scorecard.

The Salty Seconds

Now, Pacific's Rhys Stanley (149) put in a true ruckman's performance! Even with no real standout ruck however, he would have been one helluva gamble if named. EurAsian & Dublin stalwart Joel Selwood (117) would have bettered Dangerfield's performance, whilst fellow Dubliner Alex Rance (106) perhaps should have come under greater consideration. Cape Town's Mark Blicavs (114) has quite the history for the Alliance though - winning the 2015 AAP Alliance medal - and would have continued a fine reputation for this clash if selected.

I knew there was a reason I traded GAJ, Duncan and Webster. No more ex-Toronto players are to be selected.

Bold strategy not to play Ryder.

True. Gawn is pretty average competition.

Ouch. I think this calls for Hogan (C) to dash your hopes and remove you from your high horse.

Maybe you needed Fyfe then.....i know purps did ;)

This game isn't even close to being over. If my selections to date have been average then I think we need to take a closer look at what our admin has dished up.

Fyfe was always going 150 in his 150th, the captaincy should have never been in question but I can't see Titch not going 140+ to cancel him out.

Danger sub-par
Ryan sub-par
Franklin sub-par
Caddy well below-par (on 2018 form at least)
Menegola went a few points above his average

Nothing to get excited about there. Lloyd is the only player that has exceeded expectations but a 122 from him certainly isn't terminal. A West Coast defender will match that tonight.

As for your Pie + Fyfe exercise, that is probably the most pathetic thing I have seen. It makes sense though, you must be desperate to see what it's like to have a proper captain now that Dustin "#1 SC player of 2018" Martin can't get a kick and that other guy you traded Treloar for hasn't lived up to the hype. Pies.

Bunga!!??

2 reps would be pretty sweet for us

And Ada is spot on - Eurasia getting way ahead of themselves!

Dublin + Fyfe lol what the heck is that even about. Why don't we just do Toronto + Fyfe, or Pacific + Fyfe etc

LOL Holz, always have to get yourself involved somehow huh haha - take a back seat and let Purps and Ada take the leads that they've deserved. Worlds doesn't revolve around you, despite you believing that :P

Bit surprised Witts didn't get the ruck spot.   Gaff, Hurley and Smith playing tonight.  Will they get their chance to represent AAP?
