“`Lairdy’ has taken a little bit longer to settle with his ball-take but we are continuing to build his training loads,” Hass said. “Very similar for ‘Lynchy’, his side strain is settling down.

“He’s trained this morning and again needs to train on Thursday with the main group to be available.”

Can't see them risking Laird this week.

Pretty important game though. Top 8 chance on the line

Port: IN: Hombsch, Marshall, Thomas. OUT: Jonas (hamstring), Watts (omit), Neade (omit).

Was kinda hoping barry got a look in. Been dominating in the 2nds but i guess he never steps up when playing in the 1sts

Have you seen their draw?

Crows are going to go from Grand Final to missing the 8 all together

They've copped a lot of injuries, and looking at their draw I just can't see how they make the 8

All that said, they will obviously believe they can so for that reason let's hope Laird gets named

Not going to be too upset if he doesn't because everyone has him anyway

Is Higgins a chance to miss if Dusty and Rioli play this week?

Him & Trengove have put together a couple of solid weeks but at this stage they are only putting pressure on for a spot that doesn't exist but injuries happen so it is pleasing we have at least some midfield depth.

His hand does not sound like it has healed yet don't think that they will risk him

Like the coaches say Deadly you've got to embrace it. One of the joys of fantasy football is looking at your gameday match ups to see your oppo has a couple of crazy PODs that smashed your supposedly premo team out of the park.
