Round 13 Trades

So here we go, next round of these dreaded bye rounds!

Managed 18 players in Round 12 which was great.  These trades allow me 18 this week and sets me up to have 18 next week if all goes to plan (rarely happens).  Goodluck all !!

Doedee > Burton (last two games mid 90s, low BE and has had bye. Hell cheap also at 442k)
Dusty > McLean (Love dusty, but he's been sub par in terms of his scoring ability)
Guelfi > Wingard (Torn between Chad or Ollie Wines. This one may be reversed)

197k in the bank for next week

I want to go for league wins and we have no games over the byes.

I think ill trade out Ronke, Giles-Langdon and Tim English to other rookies so I can do some big trades when the byes are done.

might be stretching it a bit

I feel like Burton is a waste because he won't be in the top 8.
Wingard could work but not sure he's worth the risk. 
I would bring in 2 premos and a rookie like Austin if you don't have him or Rice even though they will have the bye next week.

Brayshaw -> Rookie (Probably a Joel Smith, unless a guy who's already had their bye pops up)
Banfield -> Gaff
Ronke -> DBJ or Simpson (Likely DBJ because cheaper and more POD. Rocky and Yeo will swing for now)

Then next week Henry and Mirra/Murphy/ZGL are downgraded and Jacobs becomes Grundy! Devon Smith is a hold this week to get more info.

What’s everyone’s stance on Taranto? Don’t think he’ll quite become a top 6 forward so thinking of pulling the pin this week.

Yeh we do mate. Giles-Langdon still has a bit of cash to be made if you wanted to hold for a bit more, if not agree with your plan.

Yeh we do mate. Giles-Langdon still has a bit of cash to be made if you wanted to hold for a bit more, if not agree with your plan.

Could probably trade out Guelfi instead but he's been consistent so would be happy with him sitting at f6 for now.

Same with Doedee as d6.

Will hold Doedee and Ronke for one more week, trading on the bye. Guelfi goes this week and might have to get a little creative to find some cash unless there are a few debutants named on Thursday night  :-\

May come back in next week - trading to get players on the park. Did not realise how many Rd 13 bye players I had.  >:(
With the 3trades a week over bye period and 2 a week did not worry too much about planning.

I didn't plan for byes all season up until last week, will have my only two donuts thanks to byes this week but other than that I'll have had 19+ the other two weeks, pretty happy with that.

Thinking Hibberd, Fritsch and Christensen to Simpson, Ballard and McLean at this stage, gives me 140k to use next week but I should have, following these trades, 17 next week pre-trades so I'll be comfortably fine. Very good spot considering I didn't plan for byes until they came up :P
