Terrible starting selections and your current rank

Thought this would be a good topic to reflect on in 9 months time when we’re no doubt trying to get clever again... list you rubbish starting selections and your current rank. I’m leaving rookies out of it, prems and midpricers only

Kreuzer, B Ellis, Billings, Armitage,Greene and to a lesser extent J Kelly, Dunkley and Lambert. 26,630 overall

Billings killed me for 8 weeks.

Libba injured after 10 minutes.
Lobb injured in game 3.
Kelly injured.
Gaz injured.

Rank 11000 but was 49000 5 games in.

Not since my very first year of playing SC have I got selections so wrong.
If not for these muppets I'd be doing alot better.

Hibberd avg.77 (over Simpson avg.104)
Merrett avg.87(over Coniglio avg. 107) - 150k
Goldy avg 91(over Lycett, who would now be Grundy avg.127) - 250k
Billings avg. 69 (over McLean avg.106)

Conigs and Lycett over Merrett and Goldy would have given me 400k which would have enabled another starting premium.

Worse still, the only one I traded early was Merrett.
Ranking 22,450 worse rank at this time of the season since my first year. :(

Way too many duds in the fwds who got injured or didn't perform....I kow the OP said leaving rookies out but combined with Billings and Lobb my fwd rookies amplified the problem with poor scoring and injuries (Garlett, Venables, Ryan)
