I am always talking up Apeness and I was really impressed with his 1st game back on the weekend.  I see him as the 2nd ruck / forward role in the future (with Darcy leading the ruck).

From what ive seen, which is not a lot but, I did have him in my original fantasy teams .... So I rated his ability!

Was surprised when the App didn't start R1 but given how well Taberner was going, Apeness had to wait. But now is his opportunity and I believe this big unit can play!

Just make sure you kindly FO against the crows ;)

He was injured mate. Never going to play Rd 1

So why was Sandi out? I thought the only reason Sauce was named was to counter (Try to) Sandi, but Sauce still named

But Apeness isn't really a ruckman is he? Big unit though

He missed last week with concussion. Obviously still suffering the effects.

Ross said on Thursday or Friday that Sandi failed his cog state test during the week (by a big margin).  So that is why he was out.  Apeness is a forward/ruck.  So he would be a 2nd ruck option IMO, but with both Sandi and Darcy out he gets the #1 job.  I hope he keeps his spot when Sandi returns and Jones makes way.
