Stats and SC scores aren’t the only thing coaches look at when making team selection

Even tho I have him I sorta agree with this. Did get beaten badly in a couple of one on ones & junked it up late in regards to stats.

He scored about 45-50 of his 80-odd points in the third quarter, it's false to suggest they were junk stats.

I am also a Mirra owner, so I watched his game closely. Most of those 3rd quarter points came from sideway kicks and marks in the backline and a couple of clearance kicks from defensive 50 that went to a contest. This may be great from a Supercoach point of view, but I felt like he was selected for his defensive pressure and that part of his game just wasn't there.

His omission is justified, especially when you factor in the 2 glaring clangers that led to scores (1 was a goal, 1 was luckily a point).
