My trades this week depend on how much sleep I get tonight!!!

Will definately go Ronke -> T Smith.

The second trade is Barry -> Walters or Angus Brayshaw  (credit HappyDEZ for sticking this in my brain!)

I'm expecting a lot of people to go Walters this week, but Brayshaw could make as much money/points as well?  He fits my bye structure better than another Rnd 14 player.  If L Murphy doesn't play I can loop him with Doedee this week for D6.  He can then cover the D/M lines with Coffield for the year (looping where possible)

This could be the craziest trade I've ever made, but could actually be the type of trade to win 50k.

Currently 8th Overall, so it could be a season defining choice!!

Sounds like your doing better than me so id say do whatever you want, but i think id go walters over Brayshaw

Brayshaw has had great for last 4 weeks but those have come against Saints, GC, Carlton and Adelaide (100 point win), so not sure im expecting him to keep it up where as walters i think will. Sometimes it pays to not be unique too :P Dont know how your byes fit though.

I was kinda hoping people would offer their advice based on the team and not the overall position.  At least then I would know the advice is genuine!!

I've never been inside the top 100, so 8th is totally messing with my mind.

Don't be sorry about suggesting Angus, the idea has lots of merit and I would't have even been aware of him without your response.

iZander:

My team after Round 10:

Def: Laird, Simpson, Lloyd, Sicily, Yeo, Doedee (Murphy, Keefe)

Mids: Macrae, Fyfe, Mitchell, Cripps, Oliver, Coniglio, Martin, MCrouch (Phillips, Coffield, Barry)

Ruck: Gawn, Goldy (Olango)

Fwds: McLean, Gray, Heeney, DSmith, Ronke, Fritsch (Guelfi, Spargo)

Cash: 118,000.  Trades: More Wanted - but hopefully enough.

I would love to play it safe with a Walters/Rockliff trade (like i expect other top 10 teams to do).  However, ith Murphy/Keefe in the backline, I will be going without cover and also a few non-playing players going into the byes.

A lot will depend if Murphy plays.  If so, Ronke -> Walters and Barry - TSmith is likely.  If Murphy doesn't play, I might be tempted to get Brayshaw in and move Keefe to the forwards.

Yeah fair, id defs go Walters i think he has just as much upside in cash generation as Brayshaw as well as the fact that hes proven where as Brayshaw is not. Bye wise you look alright for R14 with only Heeney and Ronke round 14!!! and given ronke might be able to be traded by then, thats perfect given you have to have 2 :P
As for back cover, id nearly take the risk without it even if murphy doesnt make it as i think walters is a fair bit better than brayshaw

On the other hand Melb defender fits nicely in R13 byes since you only really have keefe that bye

Idk, i think id go Walters still, but dont blame me if Brayshaw goes 150  :-[

For what it's worth I am skipping on Walters & Smith across the boards. It maybe a costly move but I am going:
AF: IN: Rocky & Ahern OUT: Mirra & Gowers
RDT: IN: Rocky & Angus OUT: Richards & Fritsch
SC: IN: Dusty & Angus OUT: Richards & Fritsch
13 trades remaining in both restricted formats.

I have 19 players for round 14, but at least 3 of them are unlikely to play (Keefe, Barry, Olango).  As noted, only have Keefe for Round 13 in Defense and that is useless right now.

Brayshaw is effectively replacing Ronke - so scoring should be at least the same?  Makes the byes better, so less trades needed during 12-14.  Will effectively be cover after the byes - as Hurley will come in round 14.

Guess we wait an hour for the Sunday teams.

North Melbournes Finest

Mirra > Smith
Brayshaw > Westhoff

Can anyone see any reason why I shouldn't make these trades? Originally had planned on trading out Ronke until I realised he still has plenty of cash to be made, and it looks like I can't trust Mirra for the byes, and Brayshaw is done making cash.

Ronke has a BE of 45, very little cash to be made.

OK had a rethink and looking at 4 trades:

1) McKernan to Smith and Kelly to Danger

2) Kelly to Smith via Westhoff - Mirra to Webster.

3) Mirra to Smith via DPPs and  Coffield to Webster

4) Mirra to Smith and Kelly to Macrae/Danger

1 gets Danger around lowest price and must have and fixes my McKernan stuff up
2. Gets rid of a non playing rookie in Mirra - Means playing 2 of McKernan, Smith, Guelfi, Fritsch
3. Gets rid of 2 non playing rookies in Mirra and Coffield -  Means playing
4. Gets a strong mid but both Macrae and Danger have high B/es and may drop further

Option 4 with Danger for mine Ringo. Gotta keep McKernan for now.

I'm just looking forward to next weeks trades, 578k in the bank  :o

Hazza09

I’m really not sure which way to go on trades this week, options are:

Barry - T Smith
Kelly - Walters

Higgins - T Smith
Kelly - Treloar / Gaff or Robbie Gray
