I've got quite a few options this week but I think the safe play is Kelly and Deledio for Smith and Walters, which gives me 450k+ for next weeks trades

Sounds good, can do some real damage with that amount of cash.

Have a few options this week seeking peoples opinions
1 ZGL to Smith and Kelly to Walters hold the cash
2 ZGL to Smith Kelly to Danger no cash
3 Kelky to Walters and Billings to Hogan miss Smith
4 Barry to Smith and Kelly to Walters

Either 1 or 4, depending on whether you need the extra cash or not.
Dangerfield's BE is 120, so even if he has a big one he won't rise too much.
Walters, on the other hand, has a BE of 24, so I reckon if you're even considering him just go for it.

Mirra, Coffield and Finlayson all out has ruined my trade plans this week

Back to the drawing board to avoid a donut. Probably means I need to bring in Ridley or Rice instead of Smith :(

Dunno. It might be better just to accept a donut instead of ~60 points for the sake of earning more cash through a better rookie.

tkringle

Going to have to cover a donut in defense with Mirra, Howe & Finalyson out..

Thinking

- Finalyson to T Smith (moves Sicily to defence to cover the donut)
- Kelly to Walters

Leaves my forwards a bit weak this week having to play Fritsch, Guelfi and T Smith, however i can eventually shift Sicily and Walters forward

Almost locked in:
Brayshaw -> T.Smith (via Spargo)
Ronke -> Walters
560k in the bank.

But not 100% sure on trading out Ronke already, BE only 45 and playing Carlton this week.

My other possibilities are Fritsch, Guelfi, Keeffe, Murphy, Spargo, Barry.
- Fritsch (BE 47) has been scoring very well lately, so I'd rather keep him for the time being as he's performing like a premo.
- Guelfi (BE 17) and Spargo (BE 19) still have 30k+ each to make over the next 2 weeks.
- Keeffe, Barry and Murphy are all under 200k, so not worth the trade. Plus I use Keeffe to loophole, Murphy could play, and if I was to use Barry I'd have to push Heeney into the mids, which is not ideal.

dmac07

Howe and Mirra out and Murphy probably not playing down back means I need to change my plans. Mirra seems like he has money to make but cant believe he has dropped again.

Mirra to Smith via Sicily to Def.

Then Fisher to Boak?

Or

Fisher to Crouch/Pendles

The_duke

T.Kelly --> P.Dangerfield
J.Higgins --> T.Smith

Midfield is complete now!
Forward line is still not done, but we are getting there.

Goosey

ZGL to T.Smith. Holding off on the second trade, might just wait 'til next week to see how the chips fall with regards to the first bye round. 315K cash in hand.

Was originally going to go Higgins > Smith and then upgrade ZGL > Walter's but with all the backline rookies missing I've decided to upgrade Finlayson > Webster instead to avoid a donut.

I'll have to wait a week to get Walters, which is a shame since he will rise massively in price but cant afford to miss out on 100 or so points through a donut.

Thinking Kelly & Guelfi  -> Westhoff/Boak and Smith.
Leaves $394000 in the bank to upgrade over the byes.
Decision is Westhoff or save a few dollars with Boak. Both have dpp.
Sage advise welcomed.

I might go Taranto to Boak and Guelfi to Smith, then swing Boak to mids via Spargo. This allows me to field full premium mids and Smith and Fritsch fwd. Can loophole one of the two with Spargo as well.

Not sure how you loophole Smith, Fritsch and Spargo if they all play for Demons?
