I'm going:
Brayshaw > Walters (via Spargo)
Duman > Smith (via Keeffe)

That will change if Duman plays or if the rumours are true and Yeo is rested (which will be a massive pain)

Adamant

^ Duman will play. Ross flagged potential changes to the side post-game and he was one of the first players mentioned. Had 25 disposals and took 14 grabs for Peel in terrible conditions.

Ooo, didn't realise this, cheers.
All I heard about him was that he "worked hard" in an AFL article XD.

Murphy or ronke for tim smith?

Ronke has almost peaked in price, so I would trade him of the 2.

Surely Murphy is a strong chance to return after yesterday's 91 point loss...

yeah, I cant see Ronke getting dropped anytime soon, but has most likely peaked in price as well.

So if you want smith for $$ generation then ronke seems the best option.

Yep. Particularly with Brown concussed & Poholke very quiet.

As I'm carrying Duman, Murphy, Keeffe and Barry + underperforming premos like Gibbs and Goldstein, I need to take the risk on Rocky so:
Brayshaw > Rockliff
Doedee > Ridley

Leaves me with 630k, with 4 rookies left on the field.
Hopefully one of Murphy/Duman/Ridley can reach 250k by Round 14, and then I can upgrade that player to Howe (as he'll drop).
And then I need Fritsch, Spargo, Ronke and Guelfi to fatten up, and get them to guys like Walters if he's looking convincing without Taberner.
And thinking about Goldy > Ryder next week, but wanna see how Goldy goes against Sandi, it's his last chance.
In a similar boat with non playing rookies.   Have Duman, Keefe down back and cannot do byes with that.
D fogarty, D Barry Phillips and Spargo are mid rookies..     Kelly in the middle needing to go.    No mid rookies to bring in.     Therefore trying to juggle a kelly upgrade/downgrade with dumping a non playing rookie in backs.      Rocky is really only choice in Mids at 400K.

Team is
Back:  Laird, Simpson, Savage, Yeo, doedee, Mirra  (Keefe, Dumin)
Mids:  Danger, Fyfe, Dusty, Titch, Cripps, Merrett - Kelly, Spargo (Barry, Fogarty, Phillips)
Ruc:  Gawn, Goldy (Olango)
Fwd Mclean, Heeney, Gray sicily Smith and Lobb. (Fritsch, Guelfi)

So did consider moving McLean or Heeney to mids and getting a forward rookie like T Smith or upgrade Kelly to Menegola and move him back to fwds later.

Plan 1.
Kelly to Menengola,   Fritsch to T Smith.

Plan 2.
Keefe to L Austin,  Kelly to Rockliff  (70K cash)

Which is best option for cash generation and bye coverage.
Is Austin likely to hold his job?       Open to ideas

Personally I'd wait a week on Austin, as St Kilda have a ton of defenders, and he could easily be dropped for a player in a different position such as Armitage.
Against Richmond, St Kilda had Webster, Savage, Geary, Carlisle, Rice, Clark, White and Austin playing in defence at stages. I'd imagine Rice, Clark, White and Austin all have similar JS, as none were very impressive on the weekend.

I'd do:
Kelly > Walters (and switch him fwd at some point)
Fritsch > Smith

Boak vs walters for me. Will be the last fwd premo spot for me

Walters easily.

Less injury risk is the only advantage Boak has.
Boak also has the advantage of having had his bye. Still leaning toward Walters though.

frenzy

I have the feeling Walters will miss more games with the gammy knee.

Hardest week for trades so far this season I reckon. If you want Brayshaw (DEF) this is the week. Same goes for Rocky (MID) & Walters (FWD). On top of that you have T. Smith screaming pick me for cash.

Rocky still needs to back it up so I'm waiting, think in defence there's enough value to hold off on Brayshaw.

Fair call Bully. Maybe just Fritsch (or Higgins if omitted) to Smith & hold. That'll be down to 14 trades.

Thanks JB...    buying rocky just seems like buying trouble.   if it works you look great but Reliable is not his middle name.     Walters is a possible.      Also could do Sicily to Backline, trade Keefe to Smith.  Wait and See if Kelly is playing next week.
