Walters is tempting but the timing for me just isn't right

Fritsch, Ronke and Smith/Billings can continue to be fielded for me, and I'll focus on either bringing in my 6th prem defender or 8th mid this week

I think finishing off those two lines is probably more beneficial and I'll deal with the inconsistent forwards last
Just go Walters M8 and swing him forward when you trade Fritsch or something

Already considered that.

I'll play around with the options and see what comes up, but I expect Walters to still be under 500k after his bye so he is by no means a must for now, although I see the value and attraction

Ridley D6 with Murphy and Keeffe on bench isn't a comfortable feeling. I can swing Keeffe forward which opens up DPP,  bring in a 6th defender then have Ridley and Murphy as bench which is much better

enzedder

Lots of options next week.
T Smith
Ridley
Rice
Walters
Boak
Gray
Rocky
Westhoff

I already have Walters and went early on Rice this week.
Now thinking ZGL to T Smith (after today) and Fritsch to one of Westhoff or Boak.

Walters is great value, think he's the man for me.

Walters easily.

Less injury risk is the only advantage Boak has.

This. Wasn't thinking Walters would remain at M8 permanently. Will move to F5 or F6 in due course when I am ready to move in my real M8

No doubt this may change depending on injuries, prices and team announcements:

Kelly to Rocky and Guelfi to Walters or Boak.

Gives me mids of Fyfe, Bont, Martin, Mitchell, Treloar, Redden, Coniglio and Rocky.  (Coffield, Spargo and Phiilips Bench).
Fwds of Boak/Walters, MacLean, Heeney, Smith, Westhoff, Bundy.  (Fritsch and McKernan bench)

In your situation, I don't think you can afford to take a punt on Rocky honestly. You will leak too many points each week carrying Bont/Rocky/Redden against a Macrae/Dangerfield/Cripps. Before this week, there were question marks on whether Coniglio would be Top 10 quality too.

Think you need to go for a more reliable premium midfielder instead.

At this point, teams that have multiple underperforming premiums just need to go balls to the wall as they have nothing to lose, and so imo Rockliff isn't a bad move. There is so much potential value in him, and if he averages 100 for the rest of the season, you've saved 200k which can be used elsewhere. If he only averages 90, then it's still not a bad trade, as you're only paying 370k.

He is already going balls to the wall persisting with Bont/Redden and hoping they turn it around. Bringing in more POD risks just opens him up way too much and he may never recover.

That midfield needs a reliable pillar like Dangerfield to keep the points rolling in.

Jack Higgins  to Walters
Coffield to Rice

Leaves me with $218,000

Atm thinking T.Kelly and ZGL out and Gray and Smith in but i will probably change a million times lol

AaronKirk

Current plan is Higgins to Smith (move Spargo to mids) and Kelly to Dangerfield.

Bully

Thinking of going Ronke to Smith as it's hard to justify a trade for anything less than 200k. Smith's output should be roughly on par so no points damage.

Ronke BE=45 so not a huge amount of cash left to make.

dmac07

Few options this week, have Doedee and Mirra scoring well down back but if I dont trade one this week I dont know how many more downgrade options are on the horizon. Fisher is gone, thats the first step.

Fisher to T.Smith then -

Guelfi to Boak
Banfield to Crouch/Pendles
Doedee to Ridley +510k for future upgrades.

Team is currently
DEF - Laird, Yeo, Lloyd, Howe, Ryan, Doedee (Mirra, Murphy)
MID - Fyfe, Martin, Mitchell, Cripps, Oliver, Merrett, Walters , Spargo (Banfield, Phillips, Barry)
RUCK - Gawn, Grundy (Olango)
FWD - Heeney, McLean, Sicily, Fisher, Billings, Ronke (Guelfi, Ryan)
