Ideal time to stock up on some Port/GC players.

I'm thinking I might go Giles-Langdon --> Smith, Fritsch --> Walters/Boak (depending on funds)

Not sure why people would be trading Fritsch now, he’s doing fine and could sit at F6 and eventually even move to F7 if he keeps his current scoring/form up.

Tim Kelly is probably worth trading before him at this point.

I’ll be bringing in Rice and Caddy this week, not sure who goes out, but Gowers is probably one.

Just posted in the Rocky thread and this thread pops up.
Repeating myself but Rocky is a genuine possibility on the back of two solid games. Less than 400k too. M8/9 loophole candidate.
Fritsch will be cooked after this round unless he scores a 100+
So ZGL and Fritsch to Boak and Westhoff is just affordable I think.... otherwise one of them with Rocky is what I'm weighing up.

Simpson only has 1 more game until his bye. Even though he did pump out a 140 this week, I think you won't suffer much of a price rise picking him up post-bye with last week's 72 still going through his cycle.

If you don't have everyone from that group, then it presents an opportunity to make up some points by bringing in Port premiums instead to generate Premium v Rookie PODs in R12.

Then you can jump on Simpson R13 & Hurley R14 bye-free.

Rocky is injury prone and I only have one spot in my mids, and that's for Macrae.
It's only worth it if they are good picks for the rest of the year. Can't see Boak and Gray going 100, whereas Buddy and Mitch Robbo probably will.

Yeah fair enough and I agree that byes shouldn't purely determine the selections you make.
