I am happy with my Gawn Martin combination - Brundy had his 3rd lowest score of the season 110 when he played Brisbane (Stef scored 114) so expect when he does come up against fellow top tier ruckman to expect his scores to be lower. Will be interesting to see his score when he plays Gawn in 2 weeks time as Martin only scored 63 when he palyed Gawn.  This score drags his average down.

Think the Top 3 though definitely Gawn, Grudy and Martin.

Grundy was in strong doubt for that game with shin soreness, so to come out and score 110 despite those concerns was an incredible effort.

Gawn v Grundy on Queens Birthday will be a fascinating battle.

Not to sure you can count on playing good ruck opposition will slow him to much he had 21 C/P this week that is the stuff of premo mids

That's the key, when the ball hits the ground he's in the the thick of the action. The only thing that will drag his average down is a clanger riddled game.

Grundy getting alot of disposals thay is what is setting him apart from other rucks

Biggest week of trades for my ruck division all year right now.

Grundy (620k) avg 126 but misses week 13 when I currently have 16 playing.
Kreuzer (479k) avg 87 but injured game 1 and missed a few weeks. 127, 139 and a 60 (v Gawn) last 3 weeks, 110 avg last year and plays Round 13.

Kreuzer looks to be hitting form again, 139 v Geelong (16 touches, 11 CP, 39 HO), and 127 v Dons (19 CP's, 9 CL's, 31 HO) despite the 60 in between. He could easily hit 110 on the way home (Averaged 117 after Round 7 last year) and saves me 140k which is a saved DG in the big scheme of things.

So really, Grundy v Kreuzer + 140k is the question. Trading Sandi FWIW

think you just have to go Grundy and take the rd13 hit Ryan, for the value he is the rest of the season - could be anywhere from 20-30pt difference per game between Kreuzer/Grundy imo ... I wish I could get him but have no cash, and not enough trades to upgrade NicNat too him despite the 20-30pt differential i'm missing out on each wk ...  :(

If Sandi is out this week lock in another 150 against freo at the mcg. Will make him vc again if so.

Yep, will be a scary prospect for us if Sandi doesn't pull up.

Yeah, he'll be my fall back C option with no Sandi. VC won't work this week dmac but I know what you're getting at.

Yep, hadnt looked at the order of the games. Gawn into Grundy. Expect Gawn to do to the dogs what Grundy did though abd take a 150

I think that heavily swings on Sandi - no Sandi could mean less ball to Fyfe and more HO for Grundy.

I went with gawn+goldy combo to start the year, I was really wanting to swap goldy to grundy at some point after goldys shocking scores but problems elsewhere meant I couldn't. Quite happy with goldsteins last couple weeks though especially against sandilands last week getting 100. I think I'll stick it out, hoping goldy continues this run and grundy puts in a couple below average scores.

Even if Goldy continues this run, it isn’t up to standard. Sure it is great he tonned up, but Grundy posted a 150 so it’s 50 points lost. Goldstein needs to regularly go 120+ to justify a hold IMO.

Easier said than done though

With the amount of carnage this year, some of us are just going to have to accept Goldy and hope he goes 90+

I've already resigned to the fact that I won't even get 22 keepers this year, and will be likely fielding 1-2 rookies all year, as well as guys like Goldy/Billings  :'(
