We would have won the flag last year if we had Danger, TMitch, Laird, Docherty, plus a few others.

Just can't catch a break

clearly didn't understand the point.

im not even talking about my squad im talking about the weird fixture rule where Round 12 scores are counting for a round 10 match, when the players played in round 11.

I actually thought that this weeks GC port games counted and then I would have won this week, and still easily won against PNL even with just 14 players.

cant catch a break this year.

I also would have won this week if I had have played Nathan Broad over Roarke Smith, Matt Guelfi over Dan Butler, and if Brad Hill and James Aish weren't injured, and if I didn't trade Jimmy Webster for Marcus Adams who can't get a game, and if Rockliff got back to his pre-bye form, and if that happened, I would still be second on the ladder.

Just can't catch a break either.

thats a bit different to a bye scheduling issue.

2 ways it could have been handled.

1. The way it is where one round is unaffected and one round is delayed 2 weeks
2. 2 rounds being effected by 1 week.

number 2 makes alot more sense as GC Port have played since this round was over and so that really should have finished this round up. Doesnt make much sense going option 1, as it should have been the next available game being counted.

im not being bias as thats how i did it in the Euro.
Then you have to mess with 2 weeks of matches though instead of 1. Surprised your depth couldn't cover for these scenarios well enough tbqh.

true so its mess up 2 weeks by 1 week or 1 week by 2 weeks.

to me makes more sense for the next available match which is round 11 to finish off round 10 as opposed to round 12 fixing up a game 2 weeks ago, but really both are annoying situation.

anyway its done now. Hopefully the byes are more manageable next year, really hope the AFL just gives all teams 1 week off and ends this stupid bye rubbish.

terrible for fantasy and in my opinion terrible for the game.

I'll agree to the point that neither option is ideal, but I stand by my fixturing wholeheartedly.

To me, it didn't make much sense to have a full round of afl - played over one weekend - to be split out into two rounds. It made more sense to split out a round that was already split. But I don't see either solution as being wrong.

Yep totally understand the way you did it.

Its messy whatever happens.

Im just annoyed 1 method gets me a win and anither method a loss.

All good though at least the home and away is interesting this year

lets see if Holman Hoff can pull of a miracle they need to beat Bonner by 152. If Bonner goes sub 60 then its certainly possible if my guys go big.

96 92 88 102 88 from Holman this year

140 111 106 147 116 from Hoff

its certainly possible those guys put up those numbers 50% of the time.

This maybe our lowest score of the year, things might be different in the Finals.

Tigers tough out Jaguars

A few games this week that were too close for comfort for the raging favourites, and this game was no exception. But the bad games for the Tiger players are just a bit better than the bad games for Jaguar players, and that was the difference today.
