who are people considering as captain choices for round 9?

I've currently got macrae vc, but don't know for captain. Titch, fyfe or cripps?

Macrae into Fyfe

Fyfes the safest option i reckon, hes back!!

Gawn gotta be another one people will consider as well

Macrae VC is a lock. Choosing who gets the C is a bit more tricky however.

Gawn v Kruezer & Fyfe away at the SCG isn’t ideal, but both in great form.
Melbourne completely shutdown Mitchell with a Jones tag, could this happen to Cripps?
Mitchell against Brisbane away looks decent, but he hasn’t been in great form recently.
Danger, Dusty & Gray too risky with large stints up forward.
Grundy could go massive against the Saints, is he over that shin soreness though?
Oliver could also go big against Carlton, but may get a Curnow tag like Merrett?

Hoping I can go Macrae into Olango

Gawn/Fyfe as back up though

strikeforce

More than Fyfe into Oliver. Oliver will dominate Curnow

Mongoose528

Crouch into Oliver...

And if Mirra doesn't play, then Fyfe into Oliver.

I'm getting sick of the renewed tagging trend, and midfield guns playing full fwd.
Having trouble picking captains this round.
Gawn won't have it as easy vs Kreuz like he did with Hickey,Witts,Nank and Belly.
I think Dusty will look to bounce back after being frustrated by Jacobs, but is he fully fit? Will he play fwd? I think no and yes to those questions.
Oliver will get Curnow.
Fyfe vs Swans at SCG is a worry.
Titch? Rather VC him but can't as my NPR is Mirra.
Could trade in Danger, but Cats will flog Bombers, he could be stuck on the bench alot if not fwd. He could also kick 5 or only 1-2.

Laird or Fyfe into Gawn is the best I can come up with.

kilbluff1985

i think tagging should be banned honestly

MontyJnr

If the AFL win the Ed Curnow appeal, I will be backing Oliver with the C.

jfitty

Thinking Macrae into Oliver at this stage.

Thinking the same. Who else would Carlton use as a tagger? Anyone?

Kerridge probably
They use Jed Lamb as a forward tag
I wouldnt worry about them tagging Oliver though, Curnows hardly a tag, he racks up big numbers himself
If they decide to tag someone itll probably be Jones, i reckon your safe with Oliver going well

Has Kerridge had any big scalps as a tagger?

Ben Jacobs restricted Oliver to a 75 when North played them, so it isn't completely out of the question for Oliver to be first choice at the Dees for attention.
