I am having difficulty deciding which rookies I should cull first.

I recognise that some of the guys with the highest breakevens also have the highest scoring potential, so who is least likely to bounce back after a few quiet weeks?

Doedee ($355,300) - Avg 81.3 & BE 90 - R9 v Bulldogs @ Adelaide [Last 3 scores - 83, 68, 56]
Finlayson ($345,300) - Avg 81 & BE 85 - R9 v North @ Hobart [Last 3 scores - 65, 62, 61]
Murray ($336,800) - Avg 74.75 & BE 62 - R9 v St Kilda @ Etihad [Last 3 scores - 62, 76, 65]
Christensen ($341,700) - Avg 73 & BE 89 - R9 v Hawthorn @ Brisbane [Last 3 scores - 74, 61, 56]
Holman ($271,900) - Avg 67.9 & BE 44 - R9 v Port @ China [Last 3 scores - 33, 70, 50]

Your help is appreciated!

Depends who are you getting. If you’re in need of a defender and a forward premo, I would trade Bundy and Murray. Doedee should bounce back against the doggies. In saying that, already traded Murray to crouch last week and trading Doedee this week. But if in need of a mid premo, trade Holman.

Thanks for the reply.

I should note that Holman isn’t starting on field for me - all the others are though.

Holman first with his low floor. Bundy started well but has hit a wall maybe next in line.
The defenders are hard to split.
They all have scoring potential,

Murray - gets alot of ball but DE lets him down, could go better vs Saints

Doedee - with his intercept marking could bounce back vs Doggies

Finlayson - maybe playing fwd a lot last 2 games? Scores well in the backline and DPP is handy for trading and byes.

Looking at moving one defender on for Yeo/Simmo this week and another (hopefully) for Cumming next week.

Keen to hear other thoughts on these 3 defenders

It's down to Doedee vs Finlayson for me, gut says hold Doedee given his role is more secure than Finlayson who has been playing forward a bit too much for my liking. Would like the DPP over the byes but chances are he won't even make it that far.
