Marstar

Went hard with trades so was planning to skip this round.

No Def cover atm ( Mirra / Murphy ) so maybe Keefe if he's named ... and can be used to swing Sicily later in the season if dropped.

Time for a double upgrade, currently have $492k in the kitty:
Goldstein --> Anyone but Goldstein
Finlayson/Murray --> Defender (likely Yeo)

Plan will be to downgrade Banfield to Ed Phillips next week and upgrade a rookie in my forward line or whichever of Finlayson/Murray I didn't trade this week, leaving Doedee as D6
I will need to work on my forward line as I am still fielding Spargo and Z.Fisher, with Franklin not playing
Not going to wait until round 11 and do Goldstein > Ryder? That's what I'll be doing.

Petracca and  Banfield to Phillips Ronke and Macrae

my last weeks trades.   :D

So much I was planning on doing... would love a Kreuzer in for Goldy but don’t have that luxury.

Naughton out for Hibberd (cost wise works for me) or Yeo if I double trade.

I think it's a bad time to get Macrae, he'll hit his ceiling price at 700k next week and then fall back to 600k after the byes, so I'm waiting until them to get him. (I have a lot of easy league matches the next 4 weeks though so that helps my decision)
Dangerfield could be a good option, as he has some easy opponents coming up, and he looked back to his best today against the pies. I'll be getting either him or Fyfe in next week. (don't ask me why I don't have fyfe or macrae yet, my team is fcked)

Don't Hibberd yourself mate. It will end in tears. Hasn't cracked 100 once. Even Billings has done that. He's cheap for a reason, and it's not injury.

Hopefully Keeffe keeps his spot and Sicily can cover back there for now!

Blues Blues Blues

Finlayson to Yeo

Goldy to Stef Martin/Sandi

Was going to go Goldy to Grundy but that doesn’t allow me to upgrade Finlayson to Yeo

Sounds just like your luck RD.
Don't worry though, I feel your pain. Only managed 2096 this week thanks to Naughton's donut on field.

My single trade this week will be Naughton > Simpson.

Locinator

Back end of the forwards looking really weak (Henry, Guelfi, English) so have to address that

Naughton to Keeffe, English to Hogan

Hogan or Acres are the best options I can afford, and I think at $440,000 I can't miss Hogan. Chance of being a top 10 forward and if not with a BE of 44, will at least gain value in the short term and could be used for a final luxury trade

Guelfi isn't that bad as an F6 at the moment; average of 68 from 3. He'll be back in this week, and after his rest he should score decently. Agreed that Henry has to go next week, BE of 18 this week but once that ton is out of his rolling average, his BE will skyrocket.

dmac07

Banfield to Phillips for my first trade.

Second trade -
Doedee to Simpson/Hurley/Howe
Billings to Gray (Fwd) or Crouch/Bont via Spargo
Fisher to Gray or Danger
Lycett to Grundy

Thoughts? Getting rid of Fisher over Billings gives me the extra cash to get Danger who seems to be turning the corner. Or could get in Grundy who is becoming a must have and Lycett has nearly topped out.
