Gray’s role has changed with Rocky now fit enough to play midfield and he had to kick 6 goals just to get his 120 on the weekend. Could certainly kick a bag against GC in China, but I feel no need to rush into picking him up personally...

This puts a big watch on Rocky. Looking at 3 Port players after the bye and will probably take at least two. Reckon Ryder for Goldysucks is a certainty. Have the money to upgrade to all 3 after the bye, and after 1 of Finlayson or Doedee to Cummings next week and this weeks trades of:-
Naughton  to  Sicily,     and   Brayshaw (Freo)   to  Phillips.  a minimum of 700+k in the kitty.

Anyone interested in Tom McDonald? I know he isn't going to kick 5 goals every week, but has been a solid scorer in the past. Can be a swingman with Sicily.

Have been considering him, is playing up the ground a lot and getting heaps of marks/possessions through the middle of the ground. So should score decently even when he doesn't kick a bag. Only issue is that we haven't seen how he will fare against the top teams

With Rockliff looking like he is finally ready to take a midfield spot, is Gray really a must have after his bye?? That was always going to be the plan, but he may now go back to his rollercoaster 2017 form. 5 goals in a qtr, and only finishing on 120 is a little concerning for any prospective buyers.

cant deny heeney will be a top forward so never a bad pick but i reckon it could work out if you hold on him until after byes. BE of 150, has scored poor last 3 weeks without Buddy (playing more forward). With buddy missing again, i reckon you can get him cheaper in a couple of weeks is all :D

I agree with this, but that might just be me saying that because i dont have him and have a completed fwd line. My POD is not having Heeney.

Yeah, I agree that he has cash to drop, but while his scores have been lowish, he got a season high 28 touches last week... I think Im just going to jump on him while I can and hope he produces a monster score to fix his form line.

Then I read that Kelly may still be another week away, he's be rotting on the pine since Round 3, I could trade him to Oliver and still go Naughton to Simpson.

If I take the later Kelly is at M8 but I miss Ronke and don't generate about $100K cash.

We've held Kelly this long, and now they've actually said they expect him to play next week so we have to hold

I think the Ronke ship has sailed, but that's just me - I never get rookies that have already gone up, let alone as much as he already has
