So what an unappetising smorgasbord we face

Finlayson Ave 84 BE 86 but DPP and good JS I think
Bonner  72 and 70
Naughton 61 and 28 - still not ripe
Murray 76 and 63 - like watching him at least
Coffield 58 and 58 and DPP to compliment Finlayson
Garlett 50 and 61
Banfield 60 and 61
Barry 46 and 22 - not ready

What a load of rubbish

I was thinking Bonner first

Cheers

I don't buy into this whole "trade because of BE"

Finlayson might have a high BE, but his JS is rock solid and he is a 84avg defender so there are plenty that need to go before him. If he loses 20k or so then who cares?

Same goes for Murray and Doedee - those 3 together can hang around for longer, but Murray would be the first to go I'd say eventually

Naughton is starting to show he can go 70+ and has cash to make so he stays a bit longer too

Bonner needs to go

I dumped Banfield last week because he had made the most from my mid rookes (excluding Kelly obv) but he has shown he can't go 70+ so was an easy choice to cash in

Barry can rot away at M11 until he reaches 225k+

Garlett won't score well, but his DPP does allow you to trade in/out mids and fwds so handy if you need it, but punt him if you don't

Thanks RD

Agree Bonner and Garlett this week to grab a bubble boy who you already have and then one of a few value premium mids.

Bonner then Banfield close second.

Then Murray and Naughton.

You could make cases for Garlett/Coffield but I'm hoping to squeeze more dollars out first, plus both have handy DPP.

Finlayson is a hold.

I always trade when there b/e is high or i think there isnt much more cash to gain. Finlsyson has made heaps and i think if you can use him to get a premo or super premo then go for it.

GoLions

Coffield has had 4 decent enough games and 1 shower one. That ~20 will drop out after this week and his BE will drop again.

Can someone with the info please post what Doedee's BE is?

Also which of Doedee. Murray or Finlayson would most look to cull first?

Personally I'd be punting Murray first

Doedee 64
Finalyson 86
Murray 63

I dumped Murray last week, looking at Finlayson this week.  Will leave me with only Doedee and Kelly as rooks on field in the def and mid.

Footywire has BEs.
Murray is first to go imo.

Given the run I have had with injuries etc I still have Doedee, Murray and Finlayson D4-D6 so am looking to upgrade 1 this week. Kelly on field as M8 (if all my premo mids play) and Spargo F6 but have Petracca and Billings F4/F5 so lots of work to do.

Murray/Finlayson the better bye - Murray better BE but Finlayson DPP. Doedee lesser bye but takes intercept marks so could still score well. Decisions decisions. Probably look at upgrading Finlayson this week.

I can do Finlayson or Doedee to Yeo. Don't have the cash to go Murray to Yeo.

The other option is to swing Sicily back and upgrade one of the 3 to Mclean.

I think the safest bet is to swing Siciily back and bring McLean in.

Spite

I'm not subscribing to Murray over Finlayson as first one out.

Murray has a SC friendly role, intercepts and lots of touches. He had his first game with really poor DE at 54% but still managed 25 touches.
Anyone that watches him play can see that at some stage he is going to have a big 110+ score. Pies look to get the ball into his hands. He's far from having peaked imo.

Finlayson is going to be a victim of his own versatility. He was thrown forward last week in the second half and looked awesome and I wouldn't be surprised if he got thrown there again when the chips are down. Especially if Cameron is still out this week... Unfortunately that is not a SuperCoach friendly role. I know he has DPP but the fact is that most of these players are going to be sold in the next few weeks, he has a high BE of 83 and probably loses you 10-20k before kind of holding price. Holding to his bye would be ideal but you've got to be realistic about the other cash cows and downgrade options available too.

In a pure sense of Murray or Finlayson, with no other options allowed, I think it would be silly to cull Murray ahead of Finlayson this week. The uncertainty can't be discounted with Finlayson in the future either so we can't just rely on his past average and assume that will continue.
