Please pledge funds to help fight cancer! Examples of ways you can help:
1.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug nails the top captain of the round.
2.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug's POD cracks the 120 mark.
3.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug gets egg on his face and his number 1 scores under 100.
4.   Make a once off donation.

Pledges:
LaHug - $10 every time my number 1 doesn't crack the ton.
LaHug - $50 if my POD ever cracks 150.

Each week I will tell you some statistics on a player's last 3 games, their last 3 against this week's opponent, and their last 3 at this ground. I will also do a quick overview on my thoughts and have a guess at their score for this week. From all this, I'll give you my top 5 captain choices for the week.

LaHug

The facts & thoughts:

T. Mitchell
Last 3: 119, 147, 83 (116 avg)
Last 3 against Sydney: 94, 108 (101 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 119, 83, 148 (117 avg)

Hasn't been great against his old side in two tries so far but Tom is back to his best and should go good. Prediction - 125

J.P. Kennedy
Last 3: 122, 111, 66 (100 avg)
Last 3 against Hawthorn: 47, 112, 131 (97 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 67, 47, 100 (71 avg)

JPK is back in form but I'm still too unsure about any of the Swans to go there. Prediction - 110

Coniglio
Last 3: 92, 102, 112 (102 avg)
Last 3 against West Coast: 121, 97, 121 (113 avg)
Last 3 at Showgrounds: 102, 121, 97 (107 avg)

Two disappointing weeks in a row for Cogs but still a very high floor. Expect a bounce back week. Prediction - 115

Heppell
Last 3: 114, 76, 103 (98 avg)
Last 3 against Carlton: 138, 115, 97 (117 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 114, 103, 138 (118 avg)

Heppell usually loves playing rivals, like we saw last week, and has a great history against the Blues. Definitely a sneaky POD here. Prediction - 120

Gawn
Last 3: 111, 135, 143 (130 avg)
Last 3 against Gold Coast: 106, 138, 52 (99 avg)
Last 3 at Gabba: 78, 58 (68 avg)

Big Max started last week on fire before slowing down and only scoring 111. The fact that 111 is "only" for Gawn shows how good he is this year. Will be better against the Suns. Prediction - 125

Macrae
Last 3: 151, 145, 99 (132 avg)
Last 3 against Brisbane: 126, 95, 84 (102 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 145, 128, 116 (130 avg)

Macrae is the best player in the comp right now. Not sure how long it will last but you have to really look at him this week. Brisbane leaking points and Jack dominant at Etihad. Prediction - 140

S. Martin
Last 3: 130, 92, 99 (107 avg)
Last 3 against Bulldogs: 90, 121, 92 (101 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 94, 79, 74 (82 avg)

With a hugely depleted rucks, Bulldogs are Stef's dream team to play. After doing so well against a top ruck last week, I'm sure he'll take advantage of this week's opponent. Prediction - 120

Fyfe
Last 3: 128, 101, 136 (122 avg)
Last 3 against St Kilda: 89, 99, 105 (98 avg)
Last 3 at Perth: 101, 136, 144 (127 avg)

The standout in a bad team last week, Fyfe might do better still back at home against inferior opposition. Prediction - 130

Neale
Last 3: 102, 138, 86 (109 avg)
Last 3 against St Kilda: 117, 104, 112 (111 avg)
Last 3 at Perth: 138, 86, 93 (106 avg)

Neale has good history against the Saints and looks like he's back. Might be worth looking at bringing him in this week and considering the C. Prediction - 120

D. Martin
Last 3: 93, 101, 73 (89 avg)
Last 3 against North: 164, 67, 62 (98 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 131, 73, 164 (123 avg)

Dusty still going very quietly at the moment but I'd expect a bit more midfield time if both Cotchin and Prestia miss this week. If even one of them plays (which is likely), I'd look elsewhere. Note: I don't think Jacobs is an issue because Dusty's not very taggable. Prediction - 100

Treloar
Last 3: 100, 147, 122 (123 avg)
Last 3 against Geelong: 99, 82, 116 (99 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 147, 122, 84 (118 avg)

This game should be huge for fantasy scores. Treloar in great form and loves the G. Prediction - 120

Grundy
Last 3: 111, 115, 110 (112 avg)
Last 3 against Geelong: 93, 106, 122 (107 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 115, 110, 141 (122 avg)

Grundy has quietened down a little bit but no reason he won't still score well against the Cats. Prediction - 110

Pendlebury
Last 3: 72, 125, 104 (100 avg)
Last 3 against Geelong: 141, 114, 142 (132 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 125, 104, 114 (114 avg)

If he's 100%, Pendles will go huge against the Cats. He always does. However, his fitness after last week has me doubting and he might not even play. Prediction - 100

Duncan
Last 3: 115, 105, 90 (103 avg)
Last 3 against Collingwood: 117, 117, 122 (119 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 110, 160, 131 (134 avg)

The best Cat to pick this week as Danger's form is poor and Selwood's not great against the Pies. Duncan should be great this week. Prediction - 120

LAHUG'S POD!

Zorko
Last 3: 176, 43, 55 (91 avg)
Last 3 against Bulldogs: 94, 157, 107 (119 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 57, 48, 124 (76 avg)

I'm very tempted... Prediction - 120

The verdict:
1.   Jack Macrae (140)
2.   Nat Fyfe (130)
3.   Tom Mitchell (125)
4.   Max Gawn (125)
5.   Adam Treloar (120)

Supposed to be some heavy rain on Friday night in Melbourne and maybe Saturday. Might affect Titch’s score....

Wet weather doesn't hurt Titch too much IMO, he can rack up tackles just as he does disposals.

Ricochet

I'd be praying for rain every weekend if I was Titch

I don't think it will hurt Titch too much but just helped me decide not to trade in JPK this week.

JPK is a goat in the wet?

JPK is a goat in the wet?

Hmm... probably.

Anyone know where you can get stats for dry/wet?

Cant help you with the stats but probably DT scoring is generally worse in the wet but JPK will be up compared to others id think. Still might be under his actual average, idk :/

Didn’t have much time to think it over this week, so stuck with Mitchell in both AF/DT :'(

LaHug

Surprised Hawthorn tagged so hard. I have Mitchell in AF but Fyfe in DT.
