Haven't been watching much of West Coast in the past few weeks. Was just wanting to know if anyone had any knowledge on him. He's played 2 games now and is ready for his price rise with two scores of 98 & 67 (80 in AF which is alright) and a B/E of -64. He's 170k tho which is the only issue and he would be playing most likely as my d6 temporarily, but i have Mirra and Murphy as my bench, both not named, which is risky for the next few rounds. Is his JS shaky enough to avoid him?

It's just the price that puts me off. Especially after paying up for Coffield who hasn't scored well enough

im getting him for a few reasons
1. need a defender
2. Good JS imo
3. Great bye
4. Potential to actually score well enough to start on my field, which would be great through the byes

Only downside i see is the extra 50-60k he is, which is pretty annoying but my only other defensive option is Duman and i dont like his JS at all

I've ended up moving Finlayson to mids early in the year, and it just helps my structure so much to go Murray to Cole now, then downgrade another def rookie, e.g., Naughton soon, and move Finlayson back to def.

I'm taking the punt. Not glad to be paying 170 but let's see what happens!

Think a few of this are in this boat and put off by it. I still have Naughton on pine as other issues to deal with.

Should hold that D6 role quite nicely and slot into D7 later in the year  :)

Happy I chose Cole over Duman at this stage. He has more experience and better JS imo.
Was pricey, but 98,67 + 88 should kick start some cash generation and can loop him with Murray using Mirra for D6.
