Neale has only scored 2 tons for the year. Yeo will be a top 6 defender, role irrelevant because he still scores as a mid & defender.

Zerrett also a good pick, 3 consecutive tons & 1 injury affected match.

I started with Merrett and Yeo otherwise Id consider them.

Simmo and Hurley down back for me, Hurley maybe not super underpriced but still under 550 for a 105 average.

In the back end of 2016 I dragged in a 2nd year FWD cos it looked like he was gonna move from the outskirts to the guts on a permanent basis. Even though he only went 78.8 for the season he posted scores of 139, 53, 112, 98, 81, 125, 105 & 112 for the 8 games I had him so it worked out really well for an F6. I can only hope the 2nd year FWD I am dragging in this week can do similar.

Comparatively he's younger than Jelwood and Pendles :P

I too get the sense that JPK seem off the pace of the younger and more explosive mids playing similar roles ... but he is perfectly capable of matching the aforementioned duo ... and at $440k to bring in a player who can average 110 average and sit at M7 is basically what we would do with Priddis in previous years.

For me the dreaded R14 is a concern.

Nope, don't have Selwood or Pendles .... but at $440k ... yes please :p

The attraction with JPK is also his ability to make 100k, after next week who knows when we will see good rookies. Guys like Ahern, Freeman & Clarke could be weeks off.
