Please pledge funds to help fight cancer! Examples of ways you can help:
1.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug nails the top captain of the round.
2.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug's POD cracks the 120 mark.
3.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug gets egg on his face and his number 1 scores under 100.
4.   Make a once off donation.

Pledges:
LaHug - $10 every time my number 1 doesn't crack the ton.
LaHug - $50 if my POD ever cracks 150.

Each week I will tell you some statistics on a player's last 3 games, their last 3 against this week's opponent, and their last 3 at this ground. I will also do a quick overview on my thoughts and have a guess at their score for this week. From all this, I'll give you my top 5 captain choices for the week.

The facts & thoughts:

Patrick Dangerfield
Last 3: 70, 109, 97 (92 avg)
Last 3 against GWS: 114, 142, 108 (121 avg)
Last 3 at Kardinia: 70, 97, 114 (94 avg)

Danger is in horrid form right now which is a real shame because the numbers against the Giants look great. I couldn't do it though and neither should you. Prediction - 100

Stephen Coniglio
Last 3: 102, 112, 121 (112 avg)
Last 3 against Geelong: 83, 72, 67 (74 avg)
Last 3 at Kardinia: 83, 72, 115 (90 avg)

Old reliable Cogs was disappointing with only 102 last week. The fact that a ton is disappointing shows exactly why we should consider him each week. That said, horrid history against the Cats. Prediction - 100

Jack Macrae
Last 3: 145, 99, 128 (124 avg)
Last 3 against Gold Coast: 93, 95, 143 (110 avg)
Last 3 at Ballarat: 149 (149 avg)

One down week and Jack is right back to dominance. He scored 149 last time they played at Mars Stadium so expect another big one. Prediction - 135

Zach Merrett
Last 3: 121, 109, 121 (117 avg)
Last 3 against Hawthorn: 129, 115, 90 (111 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 109, 105, 101 (105 avg)

Boy am I glad I held this guy. Zach is scoring well again and it's great news for fantasy. He's good against the Hawks but 3 games in 12 days is going to be tough. Prediction - 110

Tom Mitchell
Last 3: 147, 83, 83 (104 avg)
Last 3 against Essendon: 128, 130, 98 (119 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 83, 148, 137 (123 avg)

Meanwhile, Tom gets to play against a team playing 3 in 12 days. Even if the Bombers send a tagger, I doubt they have the legs to curtail Titch. Juicy. Prediction - 135

Andrew Gaff
Last 3: 120, 99, 122 (114 avg)
Last 3 against Port: 118, 83, 82 (94 avg)
Last 3 at Perth: 120, 122, 120 (121 avg)

Gaff at Perth Stadium = 120. Simple formula so bring on another one. Prediction - 120

Robbie Gray
Last 3: 101, 126, 117 (115 avg)
Last 3 against West Coast: 108, 76, 37 (74 avg)
Last 3 at Perth: N/A

101 with Ben Jacobs tagging? That's huge! I think Perth Stadium will be kind to Robbie and I expect those that grabbed him despite an early bye to be rewarded again. Prediction - 125

Rory Laird
Last 3: 114, 89, 115 (106 avg)
Last 3 against Carlton: 76, 104, 110 (97 avg)
Last 3 at AO: 114, 115, 141 (123 avg)

Laird loves AO and gets to go back there against a battling Blues team. Expect him to rack it up every time the young Blues bomb it forward in hope. Prediction - 120

Dustin Martin
Last 3: 101, 73, 111 (95 avg)
Last 3 against Fremantle: 124, 90, 107 (107 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 101, 73, 111 (95 avg)

Still doesn't look fit and is unlikely to keep scraping tons without some rest. 3 games in 13 days ain't gonna give him that rest. Prediction - 85

Nat Fyfe
Last 3: 101, 136, 91 (109 avg)
Last 3 against Richmond: 95, 75, 113 (94 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 75, 95, 113 (94 avg)

DANGER GAME! Walters out means Fyfe the Full Forward. I watched on in despair last week as he sat in the forward 50 for the whole fourth quarter. Incredibly wasteful use of talent and I expect more of it until the Dockers forwards get fit. Prediction - 90

Lachie Neale
Last 3: 138, 86, 102 (109 avg)
Last 3 against Richmond: 96, 149, 57 (101 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 96, 119, 87 (101 avg)

Neale, however, won't be playing forward. With Sandi likely to dominate the hitouts, expect Neale to get heaps of the ball. Prediction - 125

Max Gawn
Last 3: 135, 143, 127 (135 avg)
Last 3 against St Kilda: 75, 111, 102 (96 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 135, 32, 111 (93 avg)

Max is in incredible form but he's a big unit and that lack of rest is likely to hurt him. I think he's primed to go big against the Saints but the risk is too great. Prediction - 115

Scott Pendlebury
Last 3: 125, 104, 104 (111 avg)
Last 3 against Brisbane: 125, 106, 104 (112 avg)
Last 3 at Gabba: 106, 104, 95 (102 avg)

Pies players are also lacking rest but Brisbane have proven themselves to be pushovers against the top sides and Collingwood are looking good. Pendles has great history against them and is in good form. Prediction - 115

Adam Treloar
Last 3: 147, 122, 135 (135 avg)
Last 3 against Brisbane: 109, 131, 120 (120 avg)
Last 3 at Gabba: 131, 115, 97 (114 avg)

Treloar has better form and better history against the Lions. Huge chance to go big again and the only thing stopping a mammoth score is the 3 in 12. Prediction - 135

LAHUG'S POD!

Dyson Heppell
Last 3: 76, 103, 123 (101 avg)
Last 3 against Hawthorn: 156, 76, 129 (120 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 103, 138, 96 (112 avg)

While everyone's turned their heads towards Merrett, those that have Heppell should hold on tight. He's scored big on the Hawks in the past and has stepped up in some big games before. Coming off two bad losses, could this be the captain's performance they need? Prediction - 125

The verdict:
1.   Tom Mitchell (135)
2.   Adam Treloar (135)
3.   Jack Macrae (135)
4.   Robbie Gray (125)
5.   Lachie Neale (125)

Don't have time for requests this week, sorry mate. For what it's worth, I had a look at Duncan's scores when doing the write up and thought they were less impressive than Danger and Selwood this week. Hunter is a tag threat as they seem to choose him over Macrae so I'd take Duncan over him this week still.
