flower me, will I ever get my captaincy right?

#firstWorldsProblems

I captained Gawn in SC purely because you went Fyfe in WXV, so thanks!

If Gaff scores 107, Islanders will get 1600.   Surely that should be enough.....surely?

This is genius, absolute genius.

I'm sorry PB, you're right. SC is purely determined on WXV coaching decisions which is a form of skill.  ;)

Dublin plot Moscow demise

Dublin were about a Holman, OMac and Hill performance away from being elite. Just as well Sloane, BCrouch and Birchall are still to come! This was a shocker for Moscow meanwhile, whom had an incredible list of underperformers.

Tigers pounce on Child-Rearing Royals

Whilst there was a brief nervous moment for New Delhi, they get the points in albeit unimpressive circumstances. London would be quite with some players standing up, but the usual suspects continue to be passengers.

Samurai shock Seoul

WOWZER! I mean, the Samurai were always a chance heading into Sunday, but... really? Phillips 119, Cotch 110, Lycett 109, Short 93 and WHE 86 brought Tokyo one of the unlikeliest victories you'll see this year. And they broke the duck at the same time! WHAT A WIN FOR TOKYO!

Meanwhile, this was a concerning performance for Seoul, whom probably didn't think they were capable of a 120+ score before.

Seoul Magpies (20.8.128) lost to Tokyo Samurai (21.7.133)

Pacific Perform in the Big Stage

This was the win Pacific was searching for! Scoring 160 against the previously undefeated Toronto is a ominous premiership credential; one that they will take with them for the rest of the year. For Toronto, well, 2 out of 3 big games ain't bad, and neither was this performance.

Pacific Islanders (25.10.160) def Toronto Wolves (23.6.144)

Gawn + Newbies bring best against Cairo

This is actually one of my proudest scores in recent memory. I haven't had a WXV debutant in a REALLY long time, and I had to bring in 3 this week. I was seriously thrilled with the 228 they got me! I look forward to adding Viney, Hodge, Franklin, Walters and Menzel into this team.

Meanwhile for Cairo, they would be quietly thrilled with their midfield performance; netting 437 points between the 4 of them. But it was Poholke and an OOP ruck that really held them back.

Berlin Brewers (24.6.150) def Cairo Sands (20.8.128)

Best
Berlin: Nat Fyfe, Josh P Kennedy, Max Gawn
Cairo: Shane Savage, Dayne Beams, David Zaharakis, Sam Kerridge, Mitch Robinson

Christchurch crunch Reindeers

The Saints certainly picked their captain well! Toby McLean was the Saints only centurion, whom stood out in an otherwise solid group of mostly 70s and 80s.

PNL would be happy that Zerrett is back in form though, and if Billings could get his act together on top of this team performance, the Reindeers will win a few more games this season.

Christchurch Saints (21.9.135) def PNL Reindeers (19.11.125)

Cape Town holds off Jaguars

Well done Cape Town! That was a truly inspired performance after an awful Friday night. They regained the lead, and held onto it in a performance demonstrating lessons learned. The Jags would be disappointed to have come up against this particularly inspired Cobra outfit, but you always risk losing with a sub-130.

Cape Town Cobras (22.6.138) def Rio de Janeiro Jaguars (20.9.129)
