Round 6 Trades

I assumed everyone would be bringing in Merrett this week but percentage and chatter isn't what I was expecting.
Is Merrett a must have at $480K & 65 BE? I was jumping all over him at this delicious value?!

To get him though I need to downgrade Bonner (mirra) or Dunkley (higgins/guifli)

Choice between him and Guelfi for me.

I'm finding it hard not to bring him in, would bring me back to the 6 prem midfield I started with.

Any top midfielder's draw that doesn't include another game against North is a good draw in my books ;D  Don't think there's anything particularly different about Merrett this year.  He might get tagged a bit more, but that will ease up as the season goes on.  I'm not afraid of him.

In regards to Dunkley I'm waiting a week purely on that reason.

Banfield to McLean via Petrecca

Or can do Brayshaw to Acres instead but already have Heeney and Billings so don’t want another player with round 14 bye. Improves my team but is it culling Fritsch and Banfield early even they will have more cash to make?

What are people doing with Fritsch and Banfield. I already have Mirra and it’ll need to be either Banfield, Brayshaw or Fritsch to Guelfi.

In regards to Dunkley I'm waiting a week purely on that reason.

I know, Dogs have Carlton, GC then Brisbane coming up Dunkley could go bang bang bang. But he just absolute putrid last week, 9 meaningless possies for 40SC. Hes there to make me money, not going to make money with a 70BE, but has a great upcoming run.
Another option is I could give Greene the flick.. Seems real injury prone this year.

Hmm..means I can’t get McLean for Brayshaw. But I take your point, thanks mate. Might give Banfield one more shot pending his score on the weekend and upgrade Bundy instead to McLean or get rid of Brayshaw to Acres but I have Billings already and holding him for now.

he just got a 91 minute game last week, his highest yet. While not a big SC score, he still got 75 DT points which is his highest also. I'll keep him for now as thats a sign to me that they maybe ramping it up now for him. Nothing lost but seeing if this is right, just needs one good score to get a bit more out of him

Why not Venables too Guelfi and get the extra cash out of Naughton with a low BE? I get it if your upgrading this week and need the cash but your not
