Because you Kents love Kent stats. 3.4% of all trade-ins this week have been bringing Dean Kent IN.
That's a total of 2729 new Kent owners up from 109 in Round 3 and his season low of 104 selections in Round 2.

Kent- super low BE, great JS, should make around the same $$ as Coff, could even be a keeper at F6!!!

Depends who you are trading to get Kent priced at $296k and what cash you have.
using myself as an example - Trading Brayshaw to Coffield making approx 82k. If I went Kent would be costing 7k.  So basically it boils down to what I am doing with extra cash and in my case Armo to McLean.
So McLean imo scores more points than Kent so in front there.
You're decision though but basically with trades you are either looking for at least $100k gain and/or 100 ppg which I get with both Coffield and McLean.

Kent is just another Fisher, Bonner type. Waste of a trade imo.

So you're saving 120k already by going Coff over Kent. Wouldn't Kent have to make an extra 120k to be worth it?

Exactly, really regret wasting a trade on Bonner. Didn’t get Fisher as I learnt from the Bonner experiment  ;)

Money is money no matter how expensive the player is.

That said, You wouldn't think Kent will end up 120k higher at his highest point than what Coff will, so I wouldn't be making that trade.
