im worried about him changing his role,

i dont think he is that high a risk of injury, he has been durable for most of his career, that calf injury just took a really long time to get over.

Not over the calf by any stretch, has been on a modified program ever since he arrived at GWS. Richmond also had him on a modified program for his last 2 years.

Yeah big no from me too. Given his age and injury history you'd just have to wait and see if he can produce top scores like this for 4-6 more weeks.

I think the big issue is the proposition doesn't change even if he scores another 4 100s.  He's still got the same sort of risk, a month of play isn't going to change that.  Thing is, in a month's time he'll probably be around $500k and priced out for most people due to the risk.

He's a good POD play here because the risk/reward window is going to close very quickly for him.

he played in defense last year in the finals and sucked he played there in round 2 and sucked.

Yeah he's been pretty solid most of his career. I've got Franklin but Devon Smith is giving me the showers big time lol. May even get rid of both and bring in Lids and Gray.

Then he had the calf which took out the back half of 2016 and most of 2017.

Since then he has played all 7 games including finals last year and then all 5 games this year.

I can see him possibly be rested for 1-2 games but the major risk is if his role changes.

he is showing absolutely no sign of carrying a injury and is ramping it up as his TOG shows. Ill stand by my point that he isnt that much more of a injury risk then most players.

Calculated gamble, if he pumps out good scores for the next 6 weeks and then gets injured you still win. Then there's Oliver who looks like a top 8 mid. I like the trades.
