Don't understand the logic in trading Billings, Hibberd, Goldy etc.

All proven scorers, those who picked them did so for a reason.

It's a long season, trading prems after a couple of bad games just seems like a waste to me.
Whilst I don't necessarily disagree with the overall post (I have Goldy and Billings and keeping in the hope they come good), I always disagree when people say this. Yes, you pick players at the start for a reason, but if things change or your reasoning proved to be wrong, doesn't mean you shouldn't change things up :)

Agree Rusty - How many times have we held players over the years hoping they will come good.  After 5/7 rounds you should be reviewing starting prems for things like form loss (looking at you Zorko), change in positions where played etc and then correct before they bleed too much cash.

Have 280k in the bank so I'm thinking Holman to Yeo and swap Finlayson into M8 depending on if Holman is named.
I usually like to milk cash cows a bit more but there is nobody else that is worth upgrading this early  :-\
Dou you have Brayshaw as if you do would move him before Holman.

Hippo

Spending my danger money, while Danger continues the way he is the money is burning a hole in my pocket

Billings too Oliver (move TT fwd)
Fisher too Menegola

should be a extra 100 pts there

whynot102

Is Cripps to Oliver worthy of a trade

RaisyDaisy

Think I've settled on Arma to Conigs and Lobb to McLean

Next week I can either do Venables to Guelfi and Bonner to Yeo, or Bonner to Mirra and Venables to Gray/Taranto. Kelly to Danger an option too if Kelly is still MIA

Just think 4 weeks isn't enough to say for certain whether a person's reasoning is right or wrong.

To elaborate, Goldy and Billings have both tonned up in these 4 weeks, and Hibberd hasn't gone below 70 - so they haven't been all that bad. Too small a sample size to be jumping off them for mine.

Goldstein hasn't been too bad, you're right - we just didn't factor in Grundy being this good.

Even if Goldstein was scoring ~100, I can't afford to be losing 40+ points to Grundy owners each week.

Do you see Grundy continuing a 130+ average for the season?

Why couldn't he have a season like Goldstein in 2015 when he averaged 128?

Definitely a chance. Paying top dollar now though, if he goes back to the pack it'd be a waste of a trade. If he does continue, you'd be 20-30 points better off a week.

All gets back to the risk/reward factor, which is what SuperCoach is all about ;)

Grundy will be a top 2 ruck it just becomes a question of by how much. Reckon I'lll get him at some stage but will wait for Goldy to get dropped or injured.
