My trades are:
Billings -> Gray
Kelly -> Oliver

St Kilda have a tough run, and although Billings is getting the ball a decent amount, his efficiency is horrendous due to his team mates not providing options. I think he had 0% kicking efficiency for 95% of the Geelong match, and then got his last 2 on target; terrible. I can't afford for him to keep scoring sub 100s, the only game he looked good in was Round 1. Gray, on the other hand, looks amazing running through the midfield almost the entire game, and I'm not too worried about the inevitable Jacobs tag in Round 6 or his Round 10 bye, as his BE is about 55 so he's on track to reach 580k, with Billings to drop below 400k.

Kelly is reportedly going to miss another 2 weeks and I can't afford that, especially with a 160 BE, and I'm not sure how great his form will be coming off a 3 week break. Oliver has smashed it for 3 weeks, and still managed 80-odd with a Jacobs tag, so he's looking great. However I could also go with Fyfe or Macrae.

Great trades imo.
If you're lucky enough to have no more pressing issues, and are happy to pass on Coff, then lock em in mate.

At worst Billings can hold down F7, think this is the week to dump him if no other problems present. Switching to Gray is a decent option but upgrading next week much more of a concern for me.

I'm thinking the Gray trade could be done after Port's bye.. Assuming the rest of your team is about settled by then.
Think this is the way to go, Gray has the bye & an appointment with Jacobs, reason enough to hold off. Reckon getting my first rookie upgrade more of a priority.
with you on this Bully,  Unlikely to get worse, most likely to see slight improvement and possibility he improves 25 points.   Can wait until Port bye is done and reassess.      Will not change the fact how pissed off I will be with another crapo score posted this week though

Prepare to be pissed off. GWS will smash the Saints into next week.
Hope I'm wrong.....

Personally I think those trades are more important than bringing in Coffield. With him starting at 170k, downgrading someone like Naughton/Brayshaw to him isn't worth it imo. I'd rather go to Mirra/Guelfi who have shown just as much potential, for 50k+ less. (Although I know that their JS isn't as good as Coff's)

Venaspud to Coalfield using DPP I guess   :-\

Everyone jumping on Coff - just remember these expensive rookies don't make a heap of cash

If he helps generate cash by being a downgrade target, or DPP is actually useful then I see the merit somewhat, but I'd much rather wait and grab Mirra/Guelfi who will make much more if they keep playing

Gotta make more money than Brayshaw, who can't seem to get off the bench or find the pill when he does?
As for waiting for Mirra and Guelfi, it depends on each team's situation.
If I trade Brayshaw > Mirra I'd have to bench Kelly,Finlayson or Holman and play Mirra/Naughton.
I can't trade Brayshaw > Guelfi either as Garlett is already in my mids.
For me and many others it's more I have to get rid of Brayshaw.
In hindsight I should have traded him to Crowden,but went for Henry instead as I thought he had better JS.

Coffield has shown he can score, a few more 70-80 scores and he will still make money.

Menzel Washington

After starting strongly the first two weeks I'm now absolutely lost as to what to do...

I've got both Ryan and Venables on the forward bench that I clearly need to trade out. But who for??

I've got Garlett on the mid bench so can sub him to the forward line and get a mid. Also Keeffe down back, but if I move him forward then I lose the link with Sicily.

Any help would be really appreciated!!

I’d bring in Guelfi or Langdon (if named).

I would forget the FWD link with Sicily the back rookies have been awesome your just losing big cash every week having Keeffe

Screw the link, move him where you can make the best long term move for your squad whilst keeping your scores up.

So what back rookie would you bring in then?

Coffield is on the Bubble and will make cash but expensive or go early on the cheaper Mirra or wait till he is on the bubble next week

^This.  Personally I'd go Coffield this week.
