So far im looking at

Doedee>coff(only rookie i can tradr to get him. Be of 30 something so wont make to much more coin.

Jacobs>grundy
Too early to trade Doedee imo.
Sometimes it pays to cull a rookie early but I don't think Doedee fits that bill.
BE of 21due to one poor score (still scored 57 which is still ok for a rookie)
Given his ability to score well including a 115 he could easily end up 350-400 k . You really want to miss out on extra 100k and his points on field meantime? Still avg 85.

Doedee/Finlayson/Murray has been an awesome D4-6 and sometimes D3-5

No way I will be touching any of them any time soon unless I'm forced to.

Thanks to those 3, we have a stable backline

Do we hold up on coffield then?

He looks a solid pick up, do you have any spud mids who need moving on? He is M/D

My rookies are

Def finlayson doedee murray naughton keefe

Mid kelly holman banfield crowden barry

Fwd fritsch gartlett zgl

Obviously barry not playing but then i would lose cash on that trade

I was also thinking of Jacobs to Grundy, but think he should bounce back against the swans

I'm looking at Billings to Mclean and Hoffman to Coffield (keeping Doedee at this stage)

Tweet I read saying Ch9 reported Kreuz went in for scans on his hip.  If that's true then.... well.... ugh.

I'm ranked 40k which means I have to keep swinging for the fences.  I think everyone agrees Simpson battled well against Sandi, and perhaps he stays as primary ruck even with Lobb healthy.

If that's the case I can see him making $200k and being a trade out at his bye for whoever the best ruck is for $100k.

So it'd be something like Kreuz > Simpson
with the $$ to go Brayshaw > Zerrett next week.

Very high risk but I've done this before (went early on Stef and picked up Gawn after only 1 game when they broke out).  It's risk that can pay off and really get your season back on track.

like the idea, when you are down in the ranks it takes some outside the box thinking and a few risks to get back.  I hope simpson doesnt take the rucks as I believe Lobb as R1 is still a sound strategy for GWS and SC scoring.

I dont know sinclair has been dominating so far jacobs was getting pushed out so easily against grundy

Fair enough, Billings is more of an issue for me, the kid is just devoid of confidence and it really shows

Bonner > Coffield is a lock for me

Then either Goldstein > Grundy, or Billings > Gray. Not sure yet, both are sideways trades but I'm leaking points like a sieve through these 2.

barlowlove

As much as I'd love to look at some sideways options for Hibberd and Billings (can afford Hib to Hurley), I'm a pretty conservative trader focusing on leagues (these will be my first trades).

Going to get my first upgrade in, going Bonner to Mirra and Brayshaw (via Garlett DPP) to Sicily.

I've got $500k to spend on that forward but thinking Sicily is still good value, and safer than Hogan due to his DPP (can be F7/D7 swingman at worst).

Also allows me to move Garlett to the bench

stevolen23

does fritsch to taranto seem a reasonable trade? Taranto seems to be getting midfield tie a lot, and i think he is more reliable than fritsch

bkimm32

Might stick out with Billings and Goldy. Both are guns and guns don't play poorly for too long.

Bonner > Coffield and sit on 150k cash until a few other rookies are worth trading in a few rounds time.
