Underwhelming scores lately. Was going to trade him in rd16 as last mid.
Might look elsewhere and trade Crouch to Macrae down the track if need be.

I was going to bring him in next week. Now if he misses 2-3, comes back, his BE will be 200+ still. Won't be bringing him in for 4-6+.

Means someone else will have to come in instead.

Beveridge said he wasn't prepared to take a risk with Brownlow Medal fancy Macrae even though his hamstring issue was less severe.

"He felt like he could probably still go but we had to sit him down. We didn't want to lose him for 6-8 (weeks) we may lose him for two or three as it is," he said.
