Jeez 3rd bloody week in a row, that’s just perfect with Petracca and buddy out too, this has to be my unluckiest year ever

I wanted to hold but groin injuries can linger for an eternity, not sure Kelly will bounce back to 2017 form.

Yeah I had to boot him. This was what I feared, 3 weeks is way too long to be relying on a rookie in his place. He must have been close this week by a few reports, but have to wonder how it will affect his form.

Pretty awkward situation to be in, do I hold yeat another week hoping he comes back next week (since ive held him for 2 weeks already) or boot him? anyone with more info on his injury would be appreciated

With a BE of 154 and no concrete ETA I'd cut and run, 602k is a nice lump sum to play with.

Held him this long, going to continue holding him. Apparently was playing with that injury and still scored well, hopefully returns to full fitness and if he does he will be traded in by many when he starts dominating. I think if you are trading him now you are taking him on for the whole year and I am not prepared to do that haha.

I think you almost have to hold him now. At least he should be a nice POD when he comes back.

Spewing I had to trade, one of my favourite players, but leaking too many points with Brayshaw filling in for him.

Definitely gone from my team this week.
I had other issues to deal with (Beams, Lobb, Armitage, Ryan not to mention Venables who is going this week too) and to put it bluntly 602k sitting on the pine for the third straight week and an unknown going forward is just too much money sitting around doing nothing and left to chance. Will he be back next week? Will he play some and then be rested with ongoing complaints? Will his score be lower because he will be restricted in how he can play?
I've also got Hibberd, Dangerfield, Jacobs and Billings who have bled cash. I don't need Kelly to join the list. As others jump on the likes of Danger and co at a vastly cheaper price I'm falling further behind those that started with better teams.
For those in my position you have to keep trading and fighting or you may as well give up. It's yet another season where I'm going to have my work cut out but I'm still hopeful of turning things around. Trading is the key.
My options...
Oliver - $581k. He is a great buy... his SC scores when looked at in succession make for amazing reading. The 75 is why he's cheap. 4 other 100s this year. Last year he had a 4 90's and an 80 with 17 100s. His hand injury pre R1 was what put me off and on to Kelly. If only.

Cripps - $545k. Another great buy. Hasn't moved up in value really yet because of the 2 90's but I think he won't be this cheap again. Go back two years and look at how he scored when in form and playing every week. He is a bull, untaggable IMO and is already averaging 116 with 2 sub 100s. Consistently able to churn out huge scores. I see him as more likely to hit 130+s than Oliver, cheaper too and where I'm leaning atm.

Heeney - $557k. Will be the top fwd IMO. Nothing but 100s so far this year. In great form and CD love him. Safe as replacement. If he goes down everyone goes down but the longer I don't have him, the more I suffer. Probably won't get him as a replacement for Kelly as it doesn't represent as much value to me as the others. I'm reasonably confident that Heeney will be available at this price or cheaper down the track. Less confident in saying that about the other two.

No I didn't. He's not an option for me yet. Would mean I would miss out on Guelfi. Cannot afford to miss him and Higgins. Time for Venables to go. Jacobs gets another reprieve. Wish there wasscope for 3-5 trades. Would be quicker to fix my team of muppets.

Trindacut

Thank flower I traded him out the week he was injured.

THIs bloke Still on an afl list? Feel like there has been nothing said for a while and with him being a super top liner think if it was danger or dusty we’re out with the same issue it would be spoke about at length. Cameron doesn’t even get asked about him at press conferences. Hopefully he’s back this week

RaisyDaisy

Really hoping he returns this week

I've held him this long, and even if he does miss again I've got no choice but to continue holding now

Woppa15

Kelly to miss again this week, 4th consecutive week on the sidelines and still listed as 1-2 weeks away
