Very undecided in which way to go this week. With limited funds i have come up with these 2 trade options.
Lobb is definitely gone regardless if he plays or not, so this is how it looks.

1. Brayshaw - Crowden (Hold Ryan & play Venables as F6) to Lobb - Mclean
2. Ryan - Henry (Wait for Higgins to trade with Brayshaw & play Henry as F6) to Lobb - Petracca

Ideally i would rather Mclean but with Option 2 i only have 475k to play with...nobody really standing out other than Petracca.

Thoughts?
Like option 1 better.    Cost is points difference between Veneballs and Henry for one week.  Plus any difference between McLean and Petracca.   Petracca definitely looks on the improve and stepping up a grade in SC player status.   Just more comfortable with McLean.

Need some advice, I can do 2 of these 3 options:
1. Bont -> Gibbs/Fyfe (don't ask me why I chose to start Neale over Fyfe  :-[ )
2. Ryan -> Henry/Crowden
3. Billings -> Mclean

Thinking option 2 is a must, seeing as Ryan is out for almost 3 months. But very scared that Bont/Billings are going to pull out another 60 for me, facing Sydney and Geelong (in Geelong).
Thanks to Beverage, Bontempelli is getting no midfield time, and with Sydney's defence being both very tall and strong, there's a worry he'll see none of it playing as a tall forward. However his BE is only 109, which he's probably got about 40% chance of reaching. Compare that to Billings' BE of 160, and it looks much more appealing.

Currently leaning towards options 1&2, and giving billings one more chance against a weakish Geelong defence. There's also the possibility of him getting more midfield time (that we were promised pre-season) as obviously St Kilda's current plans aren't working.
Hold Billings.   Sure StKilda look like a reserves team at the moment and Billings is king of the pigeons.  He has proven he can score, I still see him as top 6-10 avg at years end in fwds.  Just wasting a trade.
I did Bont to Dusty before Rnd 3.   For the same reasons above.  For SC he needs to be onball.

Fwds   Billings, McLean, Dev Smith, Lobb, Sicily, Fritsch - Garlett and Ryan

30K Cash.

Ryan > Henry or Crowden -   job security is my key decision factor as intend to hold Lobb.
Do not really know Freo's playing list and whose position he is competing for.     Henry has to deal with Henderson returning in a couple of weeks and may not fatten.

You'd think Brayshaw gets dropped before Crowden atm. Don't think he touched it in first quarter, had like 2 disposals in the second, then a few shots on goal final term( missed) and limped to 32 points. Against GC.
Henderson is the worry with Henry, also Taylor to come in.
Holding Lobb is a gutsy call, struggled against Sinclair, is he up to no.1 ruck role yet? Could pay off if everyone jumps off and he comes good, but how long will it take?
Any thoughts on my trades mate?

Bully

Lobb only 50/50 to play, this is reason enough to cut & run. Patton also getting plenty of ruck time, I certainly didn't factor this in when I picked him but that's the way it's panning out.

So I missed trading Merrett to Danger doubting gut feel,yes/no, yes/no then got locked out when I'd decided Merrett had to go !

Now he's lost cash do I
A.)Keep him (least favourite option, he has Ebert this week and will continue to cop a tag)
B.)Trade to Danger even though I lose extra $$ (even if Danger drops is it worth missing points waiting for a small drop?)
C.)Straight swap to Coniglio ( he's gone up 50k but still cheap as at 500k)
D.)Trade to McLean to get a potential top fwd ( in mids to start, move fwd later)
E.)Trade to Oliver/Macrae/other 600k mid

Second trade is Brayshaw > Crowden/Richards.

A.) Leaves 320 k in bank but no Danger and risk Merrett stinking it up /losing cash.
B.)Leaves 95k locking in Danger
C+D.)Leaves 320k with Conigs/McLean but no Danger
E.)Leaves 240 k with Oliver/Macrae but no Danger.
Any other thoughts/suggestions appreciated.
Trade him to a keeper.   For me this has to be McLean he is the most likely keeper outside of Danger.  How many weeks does it put you back on getting Danger.  What was your plan on funding him when you did not start him.   Over the past couple of years I got burnt not starting Superprems and then finding myself caught up in injury trades and rookie bubble issues and not getting the superprem until post byes.   If you can get Danger now take it.

This year I started Danger, Mitchell Fyfe, Bont and JOM.    JOM is my early trade to Dusty.   After I saw Bonts role being high forward did a correction trade to Dusty with an early downgrade of Brayshaw.
Glad I did it as would still be weeks away from Dusty.

Is it worth going Ryan/Brayshaw to Coniglio/Croden, leaving only $800 in the bank?
Thinking not, but after some expert advice.

Cheers mate. I had no exact plan of getting Danger, but had the cash and a few options to get him.
These were
1.) trading worst performing mid prem after a Danger price drop
2.)Waiting longer for JOM to make cash and a Danger price drop
3.)trading a badly performing back/fwd using DPPs
When Zerrett got concussed it threw plans of getting Danger at a discount out. I was tossing up whether to trade last week, ended up listening to the "don't trade Merrett u picked him as a premium" and left it till the last minute and missed the lockout. My fault for not going with my gut feel straight away.
So now wondering if it's worth getting him at full price and losing 150+k instead of a Coniglio or Oliver who could avg 115+ over Dangers possible 130+.
Is 15 extra points a week worth losing all that cash for another upgrade?
Really need too work out a cash/points equation but not sure my maths is up to it these days lol.

Thinking Ryan > Crowden, Brayshaw > Acres.

Wish I started with Acres, but not too late to get him after 1 price rise.

Ryan -> Henry is all I'm looking at this week pending selection tonight

Can u do Bont > Dusty next week? And Brayshaw > Higgins?
If so do the Merrett trade. It will be too late next week after Ebert tags him out of the game.

Not clear what Merrett's issue is.   Therefore inclined to keep him longer.
Bont is just being played in a non SC friendly role.  No doubt he will perform a few great games it is just his non performance games have a low floor.   60-70-80 compared to Dusty current level of performance.   So go with 2.

It would be extremely tight. Would need Bont to be around $550k and Dusty to be under $650k to get him next week once Brayshaw to Higgins is done.
