Seoul survive PNL scare

PNL Reindeers (20.6.126) lost to Seoul Magpies (21.11.137)

If Zach Merrett goes nuts, like, 130ish, I actually think PNL could WIN!

Alas, Merrett went on to score 53 and let a huge opportunity slip at claiming the upset of the year. For Seoul, I honestly don't see KelliveField + Swallow scoring just 347 between them ever again, so this score is the minimum opposition teams will have to aim for in the future.

Best
PNL: Luke Ryan, Jonathon Patton, Levi Casboult, Mitch Wallis, Paul Seedsman

Pacific pummel down Dillos

Buenos Aires was always heading for a couple of these performances, but such are the growing pains of youth. The Islanders though, continue to strengthen their argument as the most impressive team so far this year. 151, 162 and now 167? Good lord.

Misfiring Brewers down tired Jags

Rio were displaying admirable efforts in Rounds 1 & 2, but ran out of puff against a Berlin side carried by a third of it's players. Berlin had 8 players score 71 or less in a display which does not imbue confidence against the teams vying for top 4 spots coming up in the future.

Christchurch lose Saint GAJ, but down Guadalajara

The Saints are so far headed towards being this year's unlucky side, with WXVs superstar Gary Ablett succumbing to a hamstring injury late in tha game. The continued absence of firepower is starting to show, but the nevertheless managed to get over a lacklustre Suns side. Special mention to Lachie Hunter though, who showed it's not all bad at Mexico City at the moment.

Mexico City Suns (17.11.113) lost to Christchurch Saints (20.11.131)

Beijing bring back the Thunder

That's more like it! This was a much needed step in the right direction for the slow starting 'Jing, whom were supremely led by Brodie Grundy and Callan Ward. Strangely enough, 12 of Beijing's 15 players scored between 70-99 in a consistent display that proved too much for Moscow, who were let down by Barrass, Burton and Hewett combining for 100 between them.

Beijing Thunder (22.10.142) def Moscow Spetsnaz (19.9.123)

Royals rumble; Cobras tumble

This was another bitterly disappointing showing for the Cobras against another gettable opponent in London. If current form persists comp-wide, wins will be really hard to come by from Round 7, so if they don't get a wriggle on now, they could end up with the spoon. The same could be said about London, except they seized the opportunity with amazing performances from Sinclair and Sam Gray, backed up well by Captain Shuey.

Cape Town Cobras (19.11.125) lost to London Royals (21.8.134)

Revolution humble Samurai

It's strange, because I felt that Tokyo performed better than the 123 suggests, but when the Samurai had guys like Perryman, Plowman and Young, the Revolution had guys like Sam Reid, Luke Dunstan and Houston. Samurai fight was good, just got to bring it every week and they'll snatch a win.

New York Revolution (21.9.135) def Tokyo Samurai (19.9.123)

Toga

Grundy showing big Krooz how it's done!

Glad to see a bit more consistency in scores from the boys this week. Need the midfielders to keep finding their feet as that's where all our points are - Tommy Rock a little bit better this week but still want more!

Islanders a major threat this year.

For the title I see 3 major threats.

Seoul Islanders and NDT.

Certainly feel there is a 95% chance the winner comes from that group + Dublin.
