AF: Round 2 Trades

Definitely NOT trading Zerrett even if he misses this week everyone else should play so I will cover. Early thoughts are Lachie Murphy and Cam Rayner to go out.

yeh, another amateur mistake in my starting team - shouldn't really have gone with Rayner for AF, but who would you trade him out for?

do you downgrade to someone you missed, but most are already on the fringe possible droppings in the next couple of rounds - eg Ryan, Venables, etc

or do you upgrade Young, Garlett (with apostrophes 'upgrade' as in price/cost) which again seems pretty sideways ...

Still not really sure on this, the names Coffield and Gowers come to mind first up. Coff could be a nice unique if named this week?

I want to take an approach where there's less sideways trading this season, I think I got too caught up on it last season, that's why I don't want to trade Zerrett, but with ti being only Round 2 there's no real money to be gained elsewhere so perhaps that is the best option this week?

No obvious drop candidates, will likely tinker with rookies and hopefully grab a bit more cash on hand.

Thoughts on Nic Nat, killed it considering the game time he had but not sure if he's set for a drop. I have nank atm but unsure on him considering he only posted an 81 and Kreuzer spent a lot of the game injured. Currently have 3k in the bank but my team is quite solid right now (other players I am looking to offload are Rayner and Murphy)

Nic Nat - think you just have to do it for the cash rise, esp where you can 'downgrade' from Nank (cash in the bank!) - haven't done the projections but should be at least $50k-$80k very conservatively (i'm not a maths person) ... ;)

Just remember in AF you get 2 trades per week but can not save them so you can do adjustments now,

Focusing more on SC this year, but I'm going to try and treat AF as much like a stock market as I can without any bias towards players I like etc.  Lowest BE's will come in, highest BE's will go out at this stage, taking into account premiums who will be keepers.

Nothing really to do with my trades so im gonna trade zerret out to avoid the cash drop and then probably trade him in in a few weeks haha trades come and go in AF this early in the season anyway

In the exact same position mate, absolutely no idea who to bring though... Blake Acres has a break even of 56 so is set to go up in value as merrett declines which could be handy.

You'll pass on that when Frampton isn't named. Plus English is no lock in the side either. Wayyy too risky to make such moves. I'm still hesitant on moving out Rayner this week, everyone deserves a 2nd chance and the guy was the number 1 pick!

Im sure Frampton won't be named this week, possibly a chance in the future, my thoughts are would i prefer nank & rayner vs billing & english. The risk associated is that I won't have ruck cover and if english gets dropped i will have to downgrade a promo to upgrade him.

Have to do it for the cash with 2 trades every week and if u are happy with the rest of ur side

If you got no trades to make, is Zerrett an option?  Going to lose more cash and can pick him up again when he bottoms out along with everyone else.  :-\
