With Crouch a trade next week, should I bring in English/Fogarty this week so as to not miss out on one of them?

I'd go early.

Naughton to Keefe so I can loop Doedee’s score and Byrne to Bonner.

Doedee/Finlayson/Murray I will loop until I upgrade and provides flexibility with Sicily.

Crouch to Dusty next week and bring in Forgarty/English and then sit.

2 extra trades than I wanted to use but no way I don’t make them. Can’t believe Crouch who was on fire and a big pod in a lot of leagues :(

I know it’s wrong, but a few beers in and I’m contemplating-

Bell-English, and if Bonner comes out with 70+

Hibberd-Bonner and Arma-Dusty next week. Dusty looks a must before his price rise.

I'll be downgrading Libba this week to get Dusty next week. Can't handle watching these points fly out the window...

Libba to Fogarty, Byrne to Bonner

English and Dusty in next week

Once the beers off I'd re-consider the Hibberd > Bonner trade. Hibberd's a proven premium, I'd hang on for sure.

Bell to English doesn't sound too bad to get some cash in the bank though.

Bell omitted and I jumped the gun...
Bell out for Greene. Had to go Savage to Bonner to afford it.

Have enough money to bring in English next week if he does well again. Just not sure if I like making three trades so early

I've been thinking long and hard all week about what to do and I'm bringing in Bonner and Danger.
I watched the Doggies game and Naughton was hardly impressive. Bonner will be a field player and not a bench player so it adds depth. 76, 75, 81, 74, 119 is considerably better than what Naughton did.
Danger comes in for Beams. The plan was to bring Danger in anyway. Beams may very well bounce back but I'm not going to have over 300k sitting in the coffers doing nothing.
On paper my team looks infinitely better with the changes.

The other option I have is to downgrade Bell to English which I feel is a better option than Young for a few reasons.

I can loophole Garlett into making the trade

Young is a big risk, would have to become a premium otherwise its a wasted trade + Early Bye
Bulldogs look like they want to develop him so likely to get games
Im more confident in fielding him over Garlett.
I keep 2 trades for next week
I open up the ability to swap Cameron to any must have rookie when on the bubble due to DPP or keep as a donut
Id build my war chest to 260k helping to get Danger when i decide too.
If Zorko struggles again I can trade him to any Prem who looks like a must.
Even if he is dropped at some point he can become a R3 loophole and still possible to get games and make $ at anytime.
Much better option for bye rounds

I may have convinced myself.

Bell down to English this week, because now with Crouch doing a hammy I'll need to use both trades next week and the cash I get from Bell to English will allow me to trade Crouch to Dusty and Naughton to Bonner (If it warrants it)

Should I go Naughton to Keefe to take Murphy's score, get a small amount of cash and open the swingset?

I have Sicily forward.

Yet again for the potential sake of around 30 points is it worth it? I am leaning again towards holding.

Probably not. For the sake of 70 points concerning Doedee on the pine, would you make that trade? I’m leaning towards yes.

#119
Naughton to Ballenden/Zerk-Thatcher
Olango to English

Gives me:
Guaranteed 80 from Murphy this week;
Opens DPP swing with Sicily;
Floating D/F donut for more loophole opportunities;
Ruck coverage;
An extra 20k in the kitty

And 2 less trades :/
