I was going to sit still but....
Tbell => English F5
Naughton => Heater D4

Other backs Laird, Hibbert, Savage plus Doedee, Murphy Keeffe (provide fwd link)
Sicily back to fwds F4

Thoughts on HShaw?? His role is "business" as usual??
does appear to be back to normal.     was a d3 option with lloyd, savage, and hibberd   started savage.   get the feeling shaw will have another good sc year.
Thanks for the feedback Crowls
Just read RD comments prior...
Probably wait a week now 'cos do want to sleep with d' fishes

I'd hate to need a 3rd trade next week because I didn't do one the week previous and then need to make one after prices change. That'd flower you big time I reckon.

Flower you more than running out of trades towards the end of the season and copping donuts?

The only people trading this week should be Libba/Ryder owners etc

Months of research went into selecting our starting sides - can't make firm calls on whether you got something right or wrong based off one round of football - we picked them for a reason, and that reason cannot change that much from 1 match

Round 3 is when we do our rookie corrections, so guys like Fogarty, English and Bonner we get another look at this week

Remember, if you miss one of them then so be it, you'll get something to make up for it later in the year with the extra trade etc. Sometimes we just need to pass on certain players, and just hold back

Just my 2c

The rookies are more volatile, 2 weeks ago everyone was gung-ho about Brayshaw, he was the one to break the magical 80 barrier, much like Taranto last year. It aint going to happen, this is always a long-shot. English is a DPP ruck, gold if he plays out the season, a must-have in my opinion. When the byes roll around he's an extra body on the field, could be critical when you attempt to scramble for 18 starters. And if he's dropped? Not a biggie as he can be used as a loop in the same way as we're all using Olango. As for Bonner, not essential but could really stiffen up the backline, 80+ very achievable & for his price would be a bargain.

So along with Fogarty we've got 3 very strong candidates. Now what happens if you get an injury next week? And maybe a guy like Garlett smashes out a ton? And perhaps a premo cops a 2-3 week suspension? It will be a mind flower & you'll be forced to make a choice between cash generation & points on the field.

And the elephant in the room is Danger, 4 ot of 5 people don't have him. I can see mass panic on the horizon.

Thinking Armitage to Graham and Brayshaw to Fogarty to get the early jump so I can go Naughton to L. Murphy and Venables to English +182K.

Talk about jumping based on one performance...

Wait and see out this week first, Arma to Graham is a waste of a trade IMO, as both should go up in price, and Arma more likely to become a keeper. Brayshaw to Fogarty is a trade I'm considering myself, but not until we've seen them both play twice.

Can go Armo to Bonner and Libba to Cripps

Or

Byrne to Bonner and Libba to Shaw/Acres

I'm going a little left of centre, Ryder and Libba to English and Conigs, if English is named.
Keep English in ruck as long as he is named(which admittedly is rather risky), but then next week I'll have the option on Fogarty and/or Bonner, and even if I take both of them (say Naughton and Barry out for Bonner and Fogarty), I'll have enough cash to turn a mid rookie (eg Brayshaw)  to Danger in round 4/5 depending what Danger's price is doing (this one week out could be a blessing!).

I'll be a little boned if I get in Danger one week, and then English isn't named the next week. But aside from that occurence, that could see me with 7 keeper mids in round 5...

4 of 5 non FF Forum coaches Bully.    What is the estimate of FF coaches who dumped and pumped.
Looking forward to 160+ this week or next week (prefer next week) a nice little 120-125 this week so he doesn't drop too much.  Then we will start reading "whoa is me", I can't get Danger in without selling Dusty, Cripps, Selwood, Gaz, Oliver, Buddy, Heeney etc etc.    Will be post byes before Danger appears in 35% of teams. ::)

Of course the footy gods could look down on Bombers Rule and smack me around by ripping Danger's hamstring off the bone and we get to cry.     We just do not know what is around the corner.   Fantasy Footy a "simile" for life!

Chucked a new poll in the Dangerfield thread to see how many of us on here started with him :)

You have given me something to ponder KB as I could so the same move. I would only consider it if murphy is dropped.

I don't think Murphy will be dropped though.

Brikett

No trades for me this week as long as all my rookies hold their spots.

Don't go chasing round 1 scores for rookies.

Hannan comes to mind last season. 95+ in the first round and then averaged 40 over the next 6 weeks.

1 week is not a big enough sample size.

You mean Ablett back to Danger? I'd give Bonner another look. But McGrath is all class can see him pushing 95.
