Considering Naughton to Bonner.
Have the money for Beams to Danger as well.
Cripps is going to kill it. My Beams bias has cost me already.
Will be trading this week but have to think through what I'm going to do.

I've got the burn man Beams as well.

I'd sit on him for now mate. Looked pretty good up until halfway through the third.

Didn't add a single point to his 3QT score of 69.

Still found plenty of it. Give him another week at least.

As I have said in a number of threads Brisbanes final preseason weeks were really disrupted by the wet weather which washed out the final intra club and canned some training sessions.
That is the reason I am sticking with Beams and Bundy. Tiredness really pronounced but also remember we were down a rotation with Richs injury. Expect both and Zorko for those that have him to show more this week but due to the conditioning factor may be 3/4 weeks before they get match fit.

No trades for me this week.
Next week, Venables/Ryan > English
Naughton > Bonner

I'm liking Bonner at the moment. Had him for a while in preseason then got sucked in by everyone else with their three rooks on the field in defence and using the cash elsewhere. That being said, Naughton's going to have to have a 75+ game for me to keep him next week. Putrid score, and I feel like everyone in Supercoach has broken the golden rule of no key defenders. Am looking at the cash  I need to find to get Bonner. Brayshaw might be a downgrade option? Would be a shame to burn trades on expensive rookies this early on in the piece, but at 3300th I'm not exactly struggling and could probably afford it. Does anyone have any possible downgrade recommendations? Currently I need 85K for Bonner.

No trades for this weekend but if Bonner kills it again, and Lycett stinks up the joint again Ill need to find a premium to trade to Bonner.  Only underperformer this week was Merrett, Merrett to Bonner via DPP, Lycett to Nic Nat or Goldy

cmon dmac,  you are not trading merrett (keeper) for bonner who has js issues.   what other prems have you got.

No trades this week as I’ll see how Bonner goes again to pull the trigger for the expense of Naughton.

If you made the stupid mistake of leaving both dusty and Mitchell out of your starting side in the hope of a miracle, and now it’s time to admit you’re a fool and you’re going to get one of them back this week......which one would you get and why?

Danger is the one you should target. Dusty has Adelaide away, might struggle a bit. As for TMitch, I'm calling it early, will cop a hard tag this week.

Guthrie seems the obvious choice for that task, but even so I can't see too many teams being successful in tagging a player like him. Might just restrict him to 30 touches :P

Already have danger. Thought I would be smart and start him to save the trade. So it’s mitchell v dusty now

Be interesting, I keep using Neale as the yardstick & there are occasions he's been kept quiet. But no way Mitchell will get the space he had against Collingwood, it was embarrassing for Buckley that he should pay him so little respect. Remind me again, which coach was it that said Mitchell doesn't get tagged because he doesn't hurt the opposition?

Watched the Saints v Brisbane game this afternoonand Beams survives. He was in the thick of it early and think he'll score well. Disappeared just about totally in the last and with the run under his belt he'll bounce back.

Will save the trade with this in mind. Cheers for that perspective Ringo.
I can afford Danger but might just let him slide for the moment and see if I can grab him a bit cheaper. Beams is the one I'd trade but will hold and hope.
Naughton to Bonner is just about a done deal for me. By doing it this week I free up an extra trade next week if I need it.
Watching the Doggies game now with a close eye on Naughton.

Don't know, probably Mitchell if I had to choose.
