No idea what Sicily did as an incident wasn't even spoken about yesterday or today. Maybe a complaint from North about an incident?

That's the only thing I can think of. Have scoured around for some vision of it without any luck.

Surprised they have footage of any incidents really, the amount of ump camera footage they put out.

Dudge

Apparently Mark Stevens tweeted, see the vision on channel 7 - " exclusive " lol

Surely selwood gets a medal for striking thomas not a week

There's the incident. Clearly intentionally stands/steps on the calf. Just a dumb thing to do.

Probably gets a week for it.

Dudge

Yeah, certainly not a stomp. I don't have him, but 1 max, or a fine.

Agreed.

dylanclements

Even though it wasn't too hard a step I reckon they might be tempted to go 2 for that - it just looks utterly filthy.

I have a bad feeling about this. You'd reckon the MRP could deal with a 1 weeker or fine surely?, but to send it to the big house could be costly.

Ricochet

I agree with those saying Sic's should only be a fine. Dog act and dumb, but minimal force

I also agree, but will the powers that be? Why send it straight to the tribunal if it's only fine worthy?
How often has a player gotten sent to the tribunal and come away with a fine?

Might be a message here for the club as well that they need to start managing this flog. He can't keep doing this stuff without the club tackling him. It's a rotten look.

crowls

Did not take greene as do not like to miss games based on player reacting stupidly.  sicily is right up there next to greene.  based on vid did not look malicious, just stupid.   stupid is as stupid does as Forrest would say.    Going straight to tribunal not a good sign though.

I think it's more impressive that in his first game for us, Thomas manages to get sent to the tribunal, suspended for 1 week and cleared. Just missing a fine to complete the quaddy

Tossbag, hope that was his last game of football

Hawthorn supporter and have him SC. Pains me to say it, but that should be a week. Not quite in the league of spitting or biting ... but basically it's an action that is not acceptable in any code. A zero tolerance level offense ... albeit more in the muppet category as executed in this particular instance.

Very disappointing.
