frenzy

was expecting a mountain of comments about Dusty ump touch, but to no avail.

Ed Curnow sends thanks to MRP.... the joke continues.

Trindacut

I think it’s more of an issue with the tribunal imo. May and Curnow got a week and both overturned at tribunal. The MRO said he had to be guided by what the tribunals findings were for that kind of contact. The other Curnow might feel a bit put out but it went as far as it can go, which is beyond what the MRO does.

Minimum 4 weeks for the turd Cameron. Anything less is a disgrace. Should really be 6.

Home from the game and just found this.

So looking at the incident it should be 3 weeks+ tribunal so long as the one person MRP follows procedures.  But knowing the way Christiansan has classified offences he will probably charge Andrews with headbutting Camerons Elbow and give Andrews a weeks suspension.  :D

And Gil will endorse it

Careless, High and Severe Impact, tribunal with give him 4-6. 6 if they factor in his form for elbowing jaws.

Ringo

After sleeping on it and to be fair do not think it was deliberate but certainly careless as not looking at the ball. Cameron needs to change his style as this is the latest in a number of incidents where he leads with his elbow. Dangerous as it can lead to broken jaws etc.

RaisyDaisy

Yeah he was going at the ball and you can see that mid air he realises he isn't going to get it so turns into a defensive stance to protect himself, so it's careless and not intentional in my opinion

Because of that, I think 3-4 weeks

Yep agree with this. Like everything, it looks 100x worse in slow motion

Goosey

Careless/High/High = two matches?

Ringo

With Andrews now spending the night in hospital with delayed concussion medical report from Brisbane could be damning in this case so maybe 4 - 6 now on the cards.

Goosey

Careless/Severe = Tribunal = 3-6!

Trindacut

Yeah I'm increasing my estimate to 5-6 (from 4-6). The vision is horrible for him, the outcome is horrible, and his history is horrible. Jumping in to a contest with your elbows up, might as well get on flightcentre.com.au and book a holiday.

RaisyDaisy

Cameron sent to tribunal and Daisy offered 1 week

Trindacut

Cameron graded as intentional. Going to go out on a limb and say this is a 6 - 8 week injury goven andrews condition. AFL will want to set an example and there’s more than enough outrage to support a big whack. Plus no one cares about GwS
