With Simpson taking the kick outs he looks like a must now.

Whilst some use their direction trade to get Garlett over Barry when he is dropped doh!!!!

I reckon correction trade for simmo could  happen potentially at that time ... but Will see how hibberd goes has given me an uneasy feeling so hopefully he delivers
Hibberd would have to post two games of 40 for me to swap him to Simmo. Simmo has put up plenty of 140's before and he's put up plenty of 70's the week after as well. Granted that's an average of 105, but still wouldn't be worth burning a trade.

I agree

Just had sinmo for about 3 months and only just moved him on this week

Will wait and see, Barry certainly vulnerable with Gray due back.

Simpson isn't really cheap enough to be worth a correction trade after a few games. Was good tonight and looked like they wanted the ball in his hands. What happens when teams start putting a player on him.

Im still wanting to see more from Cripps, that was a career numbers game but still only scored 130. If he can string games like that together he will be worth an upgrade, but want to see it first.

I bought in Dow to my bench knowing his scoring wasn't going to be elite, but he JS was solid. Im hoping he can pull a few good games together, 5 tackles shows he should be able too. If not ill likely use him as my correction trade to a missed rookie.

There is no way Dow is worth a selection imo

Each to there own, im not basing him off one score, ill give him a few weeks. R2 for bench rookies is much more important than R1 as it is in the rolloing average for cash generation for 2 weeks compared to R1 being in for 1 week.

Absolutely.
But trusting my eyes he doesn’t look a high accumulator at this level and when he does get the ball i felt like it was uncontested stuff ... just didn’t look ready for mine

If I didn’t have Garlett and I had Dow that move is a no brainer

jfitty

Simpson was fantastic tonight, but I’m tempering expectations for the time being.

Had him all of last season, and he did crack a couple of 140-150 odd scores, but had plenty of 70s and lower.

Still think he’s a 95 average max, so don’t go chasing points.

Gavdroid

Simpson won't get 18 kick-ins to himself every week

Hes not a high accumulator, he will go 14-17 most games I reckon. He only went at 27% DE which is what dropped his score with 5 tackles if he went at 60% he would like have scores a 60-70. Was only on field for 71% TOG which tells me he either got a niggle, was struggling with the physicality or his tank isn't up to it yet. There are positive signs and also negative ones ill be happy if people jump off as I could see him picking up.

bkimm32

Savage hasn't even played yet and already being written off lol

Considering they didn't put anyone on him or Doc all last season they probably won't this year either. They actually put more work into stopping Byrne from receiving the ball out of the backline then they did Simmo.

Doedee tick (bench)

Having the VC on Sloane is a cross. To be fair, I'm not panic stations. Byrne played his worst game with ball in hand of his career and still scored 49. He is a guy that will score a couple of 40's before hitting the ton. Kreuz was on track before the injury as well. Sloane scored ok. Had a poor round 1 last year as well. The plus side is the poor scores are only in the rotation for 1 week. If someone like Byrne scores an 80 next week he is a tick.

My start to the year was flying. Big ticks on
Dusty VC loophole
Cripps
Laird
Doedee
Devon Smith

Then of course Zerrett gets himself knocked out and puts it all down the drain
