Torn. With Brodie not named and an extra ~$150k up my sleeve can upgrade to Armitage at M6 or can straight swap to LDU/Clarke and bank the cash for future Rd3/4 corrections (maybe Murphy>Cole and M11>Brodie if named early).

The trade off is obviously early points if Armo scores well vs longer term cash generation having the ability and flexibily to pick the right rookies.

3rd Option is to hold Brodie hoping he plays from Rd2 onwards and use him to loop but that seems too risky if he doesnt come in.

Naughton or Finlayson
And
3 of Brayshaw, Barry, Banfield, Holman, Kelly

Naughton, Brayshaw, Kelly & Banfield

Except I'd probably lean towards Holman over Banfield
What do you see Banfield averaging Rico? Seemed to score decently in the JLT. Or is it more to do with their opponents this week (Port vs North)?

I really like him, but playing that fwd role means he will be up and down. Scored well against WCE in a thumping, but against Adelaide his output was lower. Scored 65DT for 96 SC.

Picking Holman over Banfield this week because it's a wet game and there should be plenty of stoppages

Yeah agree with Rico on starting Holman over Banfield...hopefully plenty of tackles  :)

I'd have thought Finlayson as Naughton will have to play lockdown with no Morris or Adams.
Brayshaw is a must field otherwise why pick him over a cheaper option.
Thinking Holman vs North in the wet, Kelly with no Danger/Scooter.
Tossing up Kelly vs Holman for my last spot...

play Holman or play Kelly... going Holman atm

Zac Langdon or Fritch. Cant decide because if i field Langdon and he has a reasonable score compared it Fritch it could be a good POD

Given it's Round 1, I'd probably be conservative and go with Fritsch.

LDU or holman?
Holman,  mature and shown he can score.   LDU still to show it.

If you're benching LDU may as well get ready to sell for a cheaper rookie.
The reason to pick higher price rookies is to field them and score more. Can't have 200k sitting on the bench.

Yep that’s what I’m thinking pending this week, sort of giving him benefit of the doubt from the conditions he was in last week, although it didn’t hinder Holman

I’m in the same predicament of whether or not I start a higher priced rookie like Brayshaw in my case. For me, pick 2 to field out of:
Brayshaw, Kelly, Banfield and Holman? Leaning towards the first two....
