Not a massive fan of copping shower scores from rookies early on in the season so will be loopholing the D6 using Mirra since the Hawks have the most Sunday games of the basement players.

The GOAT and #2 SC GOAT in 5% of teams respectively is absolutely disgraceful but I'm not complaining.

Haven't had any of the players mentioned in the title in my side at any point of the pre-season, apart from Danger who spent a grand total of 7 minutes in there when I thought he would be a POD after the news about his injury first surfaced. Clearly I'm screwed!

I really hope you're taking the piss Ada!  ;D

Upon reflection there probably aren't enough mid-pricers in there, particularly in the midfield. Might look at downgrading Fyfe to Armitage and upgrading Naughton to Crisp.

Gawn to Lycett and Buddy to Christensen should free up some cash to bolster your bench

Please for the love of god, tell me this is a troll team.

I do hope that this is a meme team.

With so many mid pricers and only 6 rookies to make cash you will most likely stay with this team all season.

Round 1

Score: 2025

Disgraceful week to start mainly thanks to a 9 from Libba and 33 from Lycett. JJ, Redden, Cyril and Christensen all scoring below 70 and captaining Pendles (99) over Gawn (139) didn't help either. Redden didn't get as much time inside as I would have liked so I chopped him for Bonner via Finlayson and traded Libba to Dangerfield.

Much improved performance. Hogan was incredible and is looking like an inspired selection, spending plenty of time up the ground as expected. The Slyce bounced back this week (despite the poor DT:SC ratio) and with most of the premo rucks either getting injured or not scoring as well as anticipated I'm comfortable with that pick. The backline was amazing with 5/6 tons + Bonner with 76.

Fiorini was a punt that hasn't paid off, just isn't suited to SC at this stage of his career. Should have found the cash and picked my boy Macrae from the start and that will be rectified immediately. Chasing points is never a good idea and there's a fair chance that after two big weeks JackMac just goes back to playing consistent scores, but at least I know he won't disappoint and nobody else will pick him since he doesn't get any attention from the media.

Pretty reasonable week, I impulsively decided to play Murray and Guelfi over Doedee and Higgins with under 10 minutes before their respective games which cost me a few points but other than that I can't complain. Went early on the first-gamers so that I could upgrade this week. Dunkley has been a solid pick but it might be time to go depending on his BE. He's done his job as a quick stepping stone. Zerrett is tempting @ 485k but Kelly hasn't really given me a reason to not keep him at M8 for the time being. Dusty will also need to come in at some stage so I think I'm better off with the premo forward. Liking Barra as a POD.

Three decent weeks in a row and I've now managed to get myself up to a respectable ranking as a result of some hard trading. Hogan, Sicily and McLean, who I brought in a couple of weeks ago all superb on the weekend. JackMac amazing. Decided not to take Finlayson's 62 and instead roll the dice on Duman which turned out to be the wrong call but it only cost me 23 points.

As for trades this week - Spargo will be coming in, most likely for Crowden who doesn't look like scoring above 60. I think Zorko is far too cheap to pass up on so there's a good chance he'll be coming into the side somehow. I was already eyeing him off before his game on the weekend, just wanted a 90+ score to get me interested and he obliterated that. Not opposed to 'downgrading' Coniglio to him who I believe has overperformed over the first 6 weeks and will now start to come back to the pack, with a BE of 156 it's now or never.

Bully

Really different approach to trading but leftfield can often work, you've definitely saved a bundle of cash by avoiding the super premos from the outset. Zorko is a boom/bust selection, brave but could pay off in spades.
