4 on field rookie defenders

The only question I have with his approach is who do you have on the bench?

Assuming from D3-D6 it's Coffield, Naughton, Murray and Finlayson, who joins Doedee on the pine?

Stoddart might play a game or two before McVeigh comes back, Keefe is iffy, am I missing someone in the mix?

I have 4 rooks on field at moment, and bench is Doedee and Keefe (for DPP with Sicily). Other options are Murphy or possibly Paine?

I assume if Murphy is playing he would have been announced as a debutant along with Fogarty and Doedee?

I love the tactic, just don't want to be stuck with no option for D8!

I've been running with 4 rookies on field in defence for a while. It's risky, but it means I can have Dunkley at F6 and don't have to field any of those fwd rookies.
Also have Sicily fwd and keefe at D8 for some coverage. I'd back the defender rookies to outscore, out-earn and have better JS than any of the fwds

Same here. I have Byrne at D3 with Naughton, Coffield, Murray, Finlayson and Doedee filling out the rest. If any of them don't pan out Cole could be a correctional trade.

I played around with it last night.

Im running limited Mid Price options as the cost benefit of them isn't worth it IMO (Currently only 1 in total across all lines), which means that the current rookies onfield are 3-3-0-1

To run 4 def rookies I feel I need to run one of Finlayson or Coffield in the mids unless extra rookies pop up im confident with. Really it will all come down to who is named.

The little notes on the site really defeat the purpose as they are basically telling everyone who to pick, who to avoid etc. Spoke with a few who haen't done much research and they are going they haven't heard of half the rookies they are picking, because the SC site told them they were a good option.

I subscribe to this, can you show me your backline? I really am not that into many of the rookie options in the midfield.

Would have to push someone like Gardiner out of the side, which I can't see happening. Andrews, McStay, Gardiner the preferred tall defenders atm.
