Finally we get to the start of a new season.

Round 1 draw:



First named team will be the home team due to the fact that UF do not list teams in the order I gave them for the draw:

Oxford Owls v Liverpool Rams - Will the Tams march up the ladder this year Owls will test but think they may get over the line here.
Leeds Leeches v Blackpool Bunnies - Leeches were the surprise packets last year and the question is will they continue against a resurgent Bunnies. Will be a test for the new coach. My match of the round and favour Bunnies to spring an upset.
Swansea Breakers v Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs - Should be an easy win for the Hedgies unless the Breakers big guns fire which is doubtful,
Winchester Werewolves v Nottingham Hoods - Hard to see the rebuilding Hoods getting over a Wolves team seeking redemption for the last 2 years.
Huddersfield Hawks v Manchester Magic - Magic surprised last year while Hawks slipped a little. Magic for the win here.
Birmingham Dragons v Bradford Badgers - Hard to see the Badgers getting over the Dragons who will want to keep the momentum from last year going.
Staines Steins v Grope Lane Giants - Giants have been rebuilding over the last 2 years and will provide a stern test for the Steins. Steins for me but a Giants win would not surprise.
Hastings Hurricanes v Wrexham Knights - Hurricanes should get over the line here but would not want to be too complacent as knights capable of causing an upset.

Remember teams to be lodged in this thread as well as UF.
As first game is Thursday night we will have a rolling lockout with Tigers and Blues players and C and VC and EVC locked at bounce of Thursday night game.
Balance of team to be locked at bounce of Friday night game.
