Carlton fans seem to think that Byrne is a certainty, im picking him atm, I think he will earn a reasonably fast 150-170k
Reckon he'll go 90+ then?

Colty said 150-170k, not $250k haha.

$400k = 73 ave based on last season..

My question is, why has everyone stopped talking about C. Ellis?  Assuming he gets named tonight.

So a 75avg would get him there eos. But to earn it reasonably fast as Colty mentioned, he'd have to score a lot better than that.

And Ellis has shocking js.

Think both Byrne and Mullett will play. Byrne is rated really highly at carlton.

FB: Marchbank, Jones, Plowman
HB: Simpson, Weitering, Byrne
C: Kennedy, E. Curnow, SPS
HF: Fisher, Silvanghi, C. Curnow
FF: Thomas, Casboult, Wright
R: Kreuzer, Cripps, Murphy

IC: Dow, Cunningham, Garlett, Mullett

is my prediction after hering the news.

Lang the only one who should come in over the next couple of weeks. (maybe Williamson and McKay)

Cunningham would be first too go as well I would think.

Brad Scott confirmed LDU and Hartung would make their North Melbourne debuts.

Also from North Melbourne's twitter page a quote from the coach "It's very hard to play two genuine ruckmen at the moment. It's more than likely we'll go with one ruck, and we'll announce that soon."

I think I miscalculated when I did it. I was trying to include 2 for 1 and forgot Pickett was injured. This is what the AFL site had as our best 22.

B: Kade Simpson, Liam Jones, Caleb Marchbank
HB: Ciaran Byrne, Jacob Weitering, Lachie Plowman
C: Sam Petrevski-Seton, Patrick Cripps, Matthew Kennedy
HF: Charlie Curnow, Harry McKay, Matthew Wright
F: Paddy Dow, Levi Casboult, Jarrod Pickett
Foll: Matthew Kreuzer, Ed Curnow, Marc Murphy
I/C: Jack Silvagni, Zac Fisher, David Cuningham, Dale Thomas

We need Mulett and Garlett to come in which is for McKay and Pickett right now. I still think Lamb plays and it's to do the job on Houli. I believe Lamb plays, it's at the expense of Cuningham who plays the same role as Mullett and Byrne at the moment off HB. Williamson comes in for Mullett but will have to go through the VFL first. Lang probably needs time in the  VFL for fitness but he comes in for Garlett/Lamb when ready and form pending. Obviously if we go taller and give Harry a run (which we will at some point) that's where it gets complicated.

He'll be able to do that job without even being in the 22! ;D

But if he isn't on the field, how is he going to whack him in the face for a 6 week suspension?

Because he can go whack him in the stands because Houli isn't playing.

When did that happen?
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-03-21/flag-hero-houli-ruled-out-of-season-opener

BACHAR Houli has joined Dion Prestia as a confirmed out for Richmond's season opener against Carlton, with the Tigers set to enter Thursday night's clash with at least four changes to their premiership-winning line up.

Houli has battled a calf issue over the pre-season while Prestia is dealing with a hamstring.

Coach Damien Hardwick said neither player would face the Blues but expected both to be available for round two's Grand Final rematch with Adelaide.

Not that have been confirmed.

Stephenson and Dow are the 2 on that list that im not grabbing.
Garlett as M11 to open up the M/F link
Yep Garlett at M11 now for DPP link - Fogarty, Stephenson and Dow are those from the list I am not starting.

I've been looking at having Garlett at M11, not sure who i would drop out of Banfield, Kelly or Holman for him though..

Most teams tend to trend to what the premiers of 2018 did. Richmond went smaller with 1 ruck only. A lot of teams IMO will trend in that direction.

Goldy's fitness is back to what it was in 2015/2016. He averaged 128 in 2015 and 108 in 2016. I'm happy to take the punt on him.
