Sometimes it helps if you post your team  :P

Personally i think you'll struggle to get a competitive score on the board

Waterman will be an exceptional pick if you want a guy who'll average 32.

As a blues fan I doubt Weitering will do enough to be a keeper and expect an 80-85 average which will leave you in no mans land as he will be doing enough to keep him in your side as there will be rookies to trade etc but won't be close enough to the top 10 to be a valuable pick.

Any cash leftover?
JOM at M5 leaves midfield a little too thin.
I'd look at JJ >Naughton and get Rayner up to another premo mid.

Going weak in the mids really does strenghten your other lines.

I personally love the JJ pick just because he is such a fun player to watch.

Whitfield playing across half back I am not sure about think others have a higher ceiling although can understand the pick.

Would try and get Danger in if he is fit as it will be hard to get him in later.

Ringo

Agree that O'Meara may be a little weak at M5 prefer at m6.

I would look at downgrading one of your defensive or forward mid premos to a rookie and as been suggested upgrade Rayner. Even though a Lions supporter Rayner at $202k will not make as much cash as lower priced rookies.  He will be a slow burn as he will be mainly on the half forward flank which is not conducive to good SC scoring.

I also have some concerns with Whitfield as i think others at around same price have a higher ceiling.  Whitfield also has a really wide standard deviation over the last two years as well with 12 scores from 34 games below 80 not what you would want from a M4,

Agree, Beams would be a good pick, certainly an injury risk but should average 110+ whilst fit.

$20k left

Age old dilemma, I think Danger, Mitchell and possibly GAJ may all drop in $$$ so am willing to take a punt on that and get the other lines just a touch stronger. O'Meara I agree is a huge risk but he seems to be moving completely uninhibited and we all know he has premo ability if fit so im backing that in. Im debating between Whitfield, Parker and Cripps but want a bit of a POD so i might go either Parker or Whitfield. Whitfield has looked bloody good so far hence why he is in there currently.
You have to take a bit of a risk to get somewhere I guess.

Surprised none of the other posters have mentioned that you don't own Tim Kelly (Geel, Mid). Guy is cheap and is expected to play, I'd be picking him over Stephenson even though he's been confirmed to start already.

Naughton is the other rookie that seems locked to play so I would also look at finding a way to get him in

Powerbug has a point but was tring to get extra prem in mid with suggestions.

So to expand out
Yeo would be the one I would downgrade in defence to Naughton,  reasoning onYeo is would want to see the amount of time he spends in the mids as Redden seemed to be the benefactor of the Priddis/Mitchell retirements in JLT.  Gives you $395k to spend.
Brodie down to Kelly gives you another 70k. Brodie will be a very slow burn compared to Kelly.
Gives you $465k to upgrade Rayner to a Prem mid 667k or lesss your choice.  Think that will make your team much stronger with O'Meara at M6,
3 rookie defenders way to go.
Not a huge fan of Petracca but your choice.
